After ample anticipation, ‘BEL-AIR’ is here.
Conceived by Morgan Cooper and executive produced by Oscar nominee Will Smith, the Peacock series serves as a modern reimagining of the iconic sitcom ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.’
Anchored in the contemporary climate, the revival adds new layers to the much-loved story and to celebrate its arrival, this week That Grape Juice hosted an exclusive screening of ‘BEL-AIR’.
The Central London event saw our guests become some of the first in the country to see the series – which has already been earning rave reviews.
The revered Remel London oversaw the evening as host, while invitees were treated to drinks and nibbles courtesy of Clije, Aphro, Value Africa, Snackatizer, and Busy Bee Bakes UK.
Guests also took home goodie bags featuring Will Smith‘s memoir (courtesy of Penguin Books) as well as must-haves from Palmers UK, Cantu, Waken, Jitterbug, Urban Veda, H!p Chocolate, Bea’s Beauty, Bells & Whistles, Olly’s Pretzels, Afrocenchix, Bourn Beautiful Naturals, Olu Olu, and Boom Sauce (because we all need a lil’ hot sauce in our bag!)

Mary J. Blige stunned music lovers in December when she released a duo of comeback singles to kick off the era attached to her long-awaited 15th studio album.
Titled ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ and ‘Amazing,’ the former tune would go on to top Billboard R&B charts while the DJ Khaled-assisted latter – though well-received on the critical front – failed to impel the impact of its parent album’s title track.
Could the tide for the braggadocious cut have been different if the original vision for it came to fruition?
Attached to production credits on albums from Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Aaliyah, and many other big names (including her own), Missy Elliott remains one of the most sought after female producers in the game.
Yet, for all the projects she’s been listed aboard over the last 25 years, there’s still one the 50-year-old has her eye on: powerhouse vocalist JoJo.
It’s been 5 years since Chris Rock thrilled audiences via a live, stand-up comedy trek, but – thanks to the forthcoming ‘Ego Death World Tour’ – the wait to see the legendary comic up, close, and personal is coming to a close.
