Burgeoning pop royal Lady Gaga invited fans into her highly anticipated ‘A Very Gaga Thanksgiving’ special tonight on ABC.  The show, which featured interviews and performances of numbers from a holiday EP and her famed ‘Born This Way’ album, was undoubtedly a ratings winner due in great part to the singer’s ever-faithful fanbase.

While many-an-outlet has seen Gaga lend live treatments to her sophomore album’s forthcoming fifth single ‘Marry The Night’, its official accompanying visual has yet to debut.  With photos and an already viral teaser making its rounds on the net, the ‘Edge of Glory’ entertainer ended her Thanksgiving special with something else for fans to feast on – a second teaser of the song.

Who better to judge real talent than an Oscar-worthy actress who has for years fooled fans and followers that hers exists?  Such was probably the forethought of L.A. Reid when casting Rihanna in her latest acting gig as guest talent judge on the hit U.S. reality talent show X Factor.

At this stage of the show, each judge – Nicole, Simon, Paula, and L.A. – has separated the hopefuls into groups with each member of the panel inviting their respective groups to their homes for ‘bootcamp’.  To add spice to the broth (and hopefully to ratings), the U.S. spin-off keeps in fashion of its British predecessor in that each judge sought the assistance of some of the music industry’s brightest movers and shakers (and Rihanna) to lend their advice to the contestants.

Find out what the ‘We Found Love’ singer and Hip-Hop hitmaker Pharrell shared with L.A. and Paula’s crews after the jump:

While Kelly Rowland continues to dazzle during the auditions phase of the X Factor UK, ‘real-time’ has seen the Destiny’s Child alumni shooting the Judges Houses segment of the show.

And while speculation had been rife as to who the 30 year old would enlist to assist her, it has today been confirmed that Grammy and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is the surprise name.

The ‘Spotlight’ singer shot her scenes, which saw Kelly’s category whittled down for the live shows, at Rowland’s Miami home yesterday. {Source}

While Ms. Hudson is certainly a coup for the show, it’s a shame that gone (seemingly) are the days when producers would allow judges to bring their own assistance (i.e. Danni-Kylie). For, like many, yours truly anticipated Beyonce or Michelle or someone with a legit connection. Still, ratings are ratings, and based on public response, winning is winning – the latter being what Kelly and this new panel are clearly doing.
