She plays sassy Tasha Mack on hit BET sitcom ‘The Game’, so it’s only natural that actress Wendy Raquel Robinson looks all flavours of diva on the cover DENIM magazine’s ‘Black Issue’.

Peep more shots of the shoot below, as well as quotes from the feature. Slaying at 44. Work!

Via The YBF:

DENIM:  While “The Game” is receiving record ratings since its return last season, there is still a bit of backlash.  How do you and the cast handle negativity towards the show?
WRR: You know people are always looking for something fresh- something new.  The criticism last year was that we [The Game] were moving too fast. Now we’re moving too slow.  We have 22 episodes and it has to build up. It’s hard for me to watch the show to see where improvement is needed- I mean if we’re in it we don’t see it.

DENIM: Do you ever see pieces of yourself in your role as Tasha Mack?  If so, in what ways are you similar?

WRR: Well I do have an alter-ego similar to Tasha Mack! [laughs] Her name is Miss Wendy! Miss Wendy about her business and will snap.  She crazy and wants things done her way! [laughs]

For many, Madonna‘s Super Bowl showing tonight is a “must-see”, as it’s the first time in years that a bonafide megastar has taken to the stage of all stages.

Indeed, recent years have seen the likes of the Black Eyed Peas bestowed the honour of headlining the ratings juggernaut. However, few acts – if any – have eclipsed the aura of “must-see” that was Janet Jackson‘s 2004 headline grabbing performance.

Sadly marred by the now infamous ‘wardrobe malfunction’, the Queen of Pop staged a stellar spectacle, which boasted killer choreography, special effects, and sass aplenty – all of which reaffirmed her Pop royal status.

Can the Material Girl one-up her long-time rival? The answer awaits in a matter of hours. Pending then, peep Ms. Jackson in action.

With more cuts and switcheroos than Destiny’s Child, the X Factor panel has seen two judges and one host axed from its regular lineup just this week.  Such dismissals instantly ushered in whispers of who would replace female judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.  And, while names like Nicki Minaj and Kelly Rowland were instantly tossed around, no name has had the rumor mill buzzing more than Mariah Carey.

Unlike Minaj and Rowland, the ‘Hero’ hitmaker was rumored to be part of the original cast of the show during its first American season as show creator, Simon Cowell, repeatedly made public pleas for the songstress to guest his show.  But, as the buzz reaches a feverish pitch, Mr. Mariah Carey husband Nick Cannon has stepped in to slam all reports that the singer will be joining the X Factor crew.

Citing her legendary status as cause she would be uninterested, read more from Cannon after the jump:

Changes to the show’s cast had long been expected, yet few anticipated the axe falling on so many, so fast.

Indeed, just like that host Steve Jones, and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were handed their pink slips. And while all have since gone on record to address their respective departures, Simon Cowell has been notable by his silence.

That is until now.

The show’s producer and head judge has released a statement on the mass cull. Find out what he had to say after the jump…

Tracee Ellis Ross may have found her footing with new BET show ‘Reed Between The Lines’, but the actress saw her world rocked when the show she rose to fame on, ‘Girlfriends’, was unceremoniously dropped by The CW.

Still a ratings winner at the time of its axe, the series was seen by many as a victim of an “Urban” cull by the network.
