Tina Turner was one of several notable names inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame‘s Class of 2021 last night. And Christina Aguilera was one of the stars on-hand to salute the bonafide legend.
The honor served as Turner’s second induction – and first as a soloist – after initially being inducted as part of a duo with her controversial ex-husband, Ike Turner, in 1991.
Backed by a full band, Xtina belted out a rousing rendition of ‘River Deep Mountain High.’ During the performance, she drew on Turner’s trademark ferocity and fused it with her own vocal dexterity.
