Black Girls Rock! ‘Wild Side’ hitmaker Normani was outside on the West Side all week long to help bring in some of the season’s hottest events.

Ahead of the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (which airs tonight), the R&B diva (born Normani Hamilton) turned heads beside the likes of Jordin Sparks, Miguel, Coco Jones, Madison Beer, Jaden Smith, Diane Warren, BIA, Queen Naija, and many more at ‘Billboard No. 1s: The Official Party of the Billboard Music Awards’ in Los Angeles on Saturday night (November 18).

On November 16, rapstress Megan Thee Stallion – who once shared screen time with Normani aboard the ‘Birds of Prey’ hit ‘Diamonds‘ – shined on the red carpet of the 28th annual GQ ‘Men of the Year’ party (also in Los Angeles). The event assembled some of the year’s biggest stars to toast the event’s 2024’s honorees Kim Kardashian, Jacob Elordi, Travis Scott, and Tom Ford.

The GRAMMY-winning Hip-Hop diva attended the function beside big names like her Sweetest Pie co-star Dua Lipa, John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, Dwyane Wade, Offset, Jeezy, Jordyn Woods, Chloe Bailey, and others.

The aforementioned helped close a whirlwind week of celebrity sightings that started with Hamilton donning designer duds for the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood.

Jordin Sparks’ fans may be used to cozying up to her 2020-released Christmas album, ‘Cider & Hennessy,’ to help keep them warm through the yuletide season, but now the GRAMMY nominee has new music they can add to their festive playlists: ‘Candy Cane Lane.’

“Cider by the fire, PJ’s are matching, matching / Surrounded by your family / Ooh, you know it’s Christmastime again / Won’t you come on by, my friend, to Candy Cane Lane?,” she croons on the Butta-N-Bizkit-produced tune.

Award-winning singer-actress Renee Rapp watched her debut album, the August-released ‘Snow Angel,’ soar to #44 on the Billboard 200 near the time of its release – marking the highest rung she’s reached on the tally to date.

Her bid to see the critically acclaimed effort fly to even higher heights on the hitlist came Friday (November 17) when the 12-song set was repackaged via a deluxe edition that sees its tracklist expanded with 4 additional songs.

Among those is the remix of fan favorite ‘Tummy Hurts’ featuring GRAMMY-nominated R&B songstress Coco Jones.

“Now my tummy hurts, he’s in love with her / But for what it’s worth, they’d make beautiful babies / And raise them up to be a couple of f*cking monsters like their mother and their father,” Rapp sings on the chorus of the Alexander 23-produced tune.

Leading an all-star cast of comics including Nicole Byer, Roy Wood Jr., Kym Whitley, and more, Jaleel White reprises his iconic TV character “Steve Urkel” in ‘Urkel Saves Santa: the Movie.’

“The holiday season is here, and brilliant but accident-prone super genius Urkel has only one mission: to make the holidays the best they can be for everyone,” says the official plotline of the Warner Bros. Discovery animated film directed by Bryan Newton. “However, things are off to a not-so-merry start after he ruins a celebration at his local shopping mall and humiliates the department store Santa.”

Steve’s effort to make things right takes a downturn after he invents a device that is supposed to help people spread holiday cheer. After making things worse, however, the genial nerd figures out a way to reverse the adverse effects of his invention and saves Santa.

The last 48 hours have been a media circus due to Cassie filing a jaw-dropping $30 million lawsuit that alleged her former boss and boyfriend, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, sexually and physically assaulted her several times over the course of their decade-long relationship.

Just a day after sending headlines into a whirlwind with the suit and garnering massive support from fans, women’s rights activists, former Bad Boy labelmates, and more, however, the singer-model (born Cassandra Ventura) stunned with the announcement she and Sean settled the legal matter “amicably.”

While the terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, social media went into overdrive with theories that Combs caved into Ventura’s demands or that she was paid hush money to help quickly put out the media fire.

As Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz fans were getting acquainted with the Hip-Hop heavyweights’ November 17-released joint album, ‘Welcome 2 Collegrove,’ it became quickly apparent the Usher-assisted ‘Transparency‘ was one of the 21-song LP’s standout tracks.

Now, the Hitmaka-produced cut has been gifted the visual treatment.

“Don’t know what you’re really lookin’ for / Tell me if you need to / Tell me I’m the one you’re lookin’ for / Don’t wanna be a secret / Transparency, when you look at me,” Ush croons on the sizzling new bop.
