Kelly Rowland Performs On Today Show
With her Stateside promotional campaign in full swing, Kelly Rowland stopped by the Today Show this morning to perform her current single ‘Like This’. Judging from this performance, it seems the European performances were simply warm-ups because she delivered majorly. From the live band, to the improved choreography and the overall energy, this performance was on-point. I’m really anxious to see how she does tomorrow a the 2007 BET Awards.

I lOve Kelly, but after awhile I just lost interest in the prformance. From what I saw this morning it was o.k. To me it wasn’t any different than the other performances she did. Her shorts were cute though

I love that woman. I’m glad she’s looking and feeling more comfortable as a solo artist. Not nervous and just having fun on that stage.

I LOVE KELLY, in every way, I think she is a great artist, has a great voice, looks fantastic, but i really got bored by all the kelly-posts….seems like almost every third one is about her, and it’s mostly all performances, and they’re all the same…we’ve had enough,thank u.

yea i saw the performance on tv this morning, it was actually pretty good. she did seem more confident and like she was having alot of fun. cant wait for the album July 3

I love Kelly’s personality, but as a musical artist she just doesn’t do it for me. Her vocals are weak and kind of annoying, its a weird combination between too nasal and too throaty. Is she even singing on this song?
As for the perfomance…YAWN! We’ve seen it too many times already…add a new step or something!!! Come on Kelly step your game up!

um she’s promoting! so of course she’s gonna have the same steps! just like if you go to a concert…it’s the same thing over and over! and she did amazing…she looked great and did a great job! wow…and of course she’n no beyonce! she’s KELLY retard! they make different music, and have different vibes in their material (beyonce is over the top while kelly has mature material) i love both and i wish people didn’t see the need to compare them…i mean if kelly did beyonce material sure, but you don’t see kelly hollering ore screaming do you? what do you want her to do? some fake ass punk shid? whatev!

i don’t think rihanna has more stage precense but she is doing something different. unfortunately kelly is not. it takes more than a good voice to be a pop artist.

Kelly is very pretty, dances very well (six inch heels no less), and has a great voice, and an awesome personality. I think she’s awesome! I don’t think Kelly lacks anything, I think people get consumed in the “competition” with Beyonce. I dunno, I like her music! Maybe that makes me old fashioned, and my boyfriend likes her because she has class, and does not have to resort to “hoochie-ing it up” lol!

How stated that Kelly wants to be a pop artist. If you are a true Kelly fan, one would know that she stated that she did not want to go the Destiny’s Child route, and produce and sing Pop music. Kelly is not no damn Beyonce, Kelly is Kelly, and people need to start realizing that. I honestly don’t see how people are so damn critical, and I bet half of yall can not do or even come close to what she is doing. I respect her, because she is learning to be an individual, and is trying to make a name for herself. People like many of you here, are not allowing her to develop her own self, because you all can not stop comparing her to other artist. I think that her performance was well done, and I felt it the entire way through. She was in a studio doing that performance, and the audience was the damn camera man, an anchor man, and probably a couple more people that works at the Today Show. What did yall want her to do, act like she was performing in front of a crowd of 10,000? Kelly is doing it big, and I love the new album. If you are a true fan, Ms. Kelly comes out on July 3rd.

I actually loved this performance. I was bobbing my head the whole time. She had energy and everything, she held it down. Plus the choreography was projected much better than her previous performances.

this is kelly’s best performance so far! the live band makes it better and obviously the routine is more tight then her first performances of this song. i cant wait to see her on BET, hopefully shes gonna blow everyone away! *fingers crossed*

Ok. I watched the clip. I then read the comments. Then I watched the clip again. Problem is…why did i need to watch the clip twice to finally decide that Kelly did a decent job. R&B stars, pop stars aren’t supposed to be decent. There supposed to be GOOD! sorta like what you say to your man after he tears your cat trap up.
Her voice was ok but it was also borderlin’n bitch can’t sing territory……but i support Kelly and wish her growth and success.

Honestly, I don’t know why people compare Kelly with Beyonce. There was nothing wrong with Kelly’s performance. She did great. I would buy a Kelly CD way before I would spend my hard earned cash on a Beyonce CD. I mean really, people honestly think that Beyonce has talent. Her voice is soo damn annoying. I really don’t get what people see or hear in Beyonce. You go Kelly and do your thang. I don’t think the album is going to be a hugh success, but I do wish you the best.
