New Song: Amerie – ‘Crush’ (Video Mix)

Published: Wednesday 7th Nov 2007 by Sam
With Amerie set to release ‘Crush’ as the third single from her ‘Because I Love It’ album, new information on the release has surfaced. Those familiar with the album version of the track, will notice that it’s not the same version used for the video.
This (new) version of the track is indeed the original version of the song. Produced by Johnny Douglas, clearance/legal issues prevented its placement on the album, however it’s set to be used for the video. I’ve long been a fan of the song and like this version just as much as the first.

I honestly prefer the album version. But anyways it’s a perfect song and a superb album. Can’t understand why they didn’t release it at the US.

Oh, I don’t really like this version of the song… The album version is much more emotional and sensual I think…

I like the album version better. This “original” version has too much going on.
