The video for Keyshia Cole’s latest single ‘Heaven Sent’ premiered on BET’s Access Granted just a few short hours ago. I’ve long had the song in heavy rotation, so it’s good to see that the vid does it justice. More a concept clip than anything else, the simplistic nature of the vid really compliments the song. Keyshia looks great too.

when i listened to the album ..this was my favourite song it’s beautiful
the concept of the video suits the song it’s natural….unlike some artists these days whose videos have no connection to the song
I think she’s gettin a lil self-absorbed…..I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like the song, but what’s wit all these videos & it’s ONLY her in the video??? She don’t dance (obviously she can’t) or entertain well @ ALLLLL. But she be singin her ass off tho….I’m jus sayin….even JANET don’t make videos w/ONLY Janet in it.
OK so we’ve seen these kind of videos before (MJB’s ‘Everything’, DC’s ‘Survivor’, LL’s ‘Paradise).
But I still love this video and song. I don’t care that it is not original and there is not much going on except KC walking around an island, it is still a beautiful song. So well done to KC for releasing 4 videos while my idol MJB is struggling with releasing a second video.
this chick wants to be MJB so bad she can taste it. now i know mary wasn’t the first to make a video on the beach but i swear it looks like they just took clips from her “everything” video and edited them in this mess. smh @ KC. go sit down. oh yeah im still mad at you for making that wackaliscious video for my fav song “i remember”.
the song is great they could have had someone else in the video i mean its bland and boring all your doing its watching her walk on the beach and the ocean waves could have at least shown some clips of the tv show or some of her other videos.
I can already see it now 106 and park and other shows will only be showing short clips of the video its just too boring.
I know it’s cliche and everything, but it woulda been nice to have some kinda love interest in the video.. it would bring the lyrics to life more 🙂 This song is just too beautiful for words to describe tho..

i hate it, i hate it and i hate it some more. i’m like the biggest Keyshia Cole fan, but ALL her videos are boring. i think it’s time she goes with a new director. the all seem to be so low budget and shot on beaches. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keyshia i beg of you to try something new….
i think its just like all the other videos from Just Like You, boring. the whole beach pool side theme is played. i personally like the way she brought it in, The Way It Is videos. think she growing vocally but fails to delivers a stella video performance. suggest she goes with another video director. but i love her songs

I think the video complements the song quite nicely – its easy on the eye and has a relaxing feel to it.
OK it isnt high budget but so what? Its simple, its effective and most importantly… its a video.
I totally agree with what K said, what is it with all these artists not making videos? I thought it was a pretty simple formula when releasing a single… get it on the radios, get a video on MTV and do live performances.
Keyshias doing her thing, getting her singles (and videos) out there and in my book, she’s doing exactly what she shud be doing.

i like the video…and ya’ll need to stop acting like all her videos have been pool side….should of let you go was the ONLY other video that was done by the water….keyshia is just trying to go the classy simple route this go around…all her vids from her first album had a story line and all the stuff you people like seeing,theres nothing wrong with goin a different route…stop trippin,the vid is very calming…and the scenery is beautiful.
I like the video. It suits the song. It kinda reminds me of MJB’s Everything from ’97.

I love everything this woman does, && so what if it seems like shes copying MJB, that what people do in that business – its an honor..
