New Song: Pussycat Dolls – ‘Whatcha Think About That (ft. Missy Elliott)’

Published: Friday 29th Aug 2008 by Sam
Pussycat Dolls - 'Whatcha Think About That (ft. Missy Elliott)' A new Pussycat Dolls cut said to be lifted from their forthcoming ‘Doll Domination’ LP, titled ‘Whatcha Think About That’, surfaced today. The Missy Elliott assisted track’s main appeal (IMO) is the fact that for the first time since their debut another voice that isn’t Nicole actually sings something which you can hear lol (Melody’s ad-libs don’t count).
The down-side, however, is that – to put it bluntly – the track is sub-par at best. I’ve yet to hear anything anywhere near as good as ‘When I Grow Up’ from the ladies from this new LP. It’ll be interesting to see if they deliver the goods with the album more roundly.

Hit or Miss?

It sounds like ther heard dainty kane’s LIGHTS OUT and said there dumb for not releasin that and tried to do sumthin similar..but umm failed cause that song is so corny..but if released they prolly make a hot video to sell it.

Yeah isn’t it really odd that Danity Kane’s second single features Missy Elliott AND NOW The Pussycat Dolls second single features Missy Elliott.

I bet Diddy is pissed cuz “Bad Girl,” ain’t doin well on the charts AND for Missy to do such a thing had to of pissed him off even more so!

Song was OK, like illegal DL good !LOL!

    -K.

AND I think Danity Kane’s “Lights Out,” is a great song, one of the best on ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse,’ album…..

  13. Anonymous August 29, 2008

I damn near fell asleep hearing this song. Sam is actually a fan of PCD. I think he/she was giving an honest opinion. I believe Sam is a fan of both PCD and DK. Sam stans harder for Kelly tho..lol.

  14. Anonymous August 29, 2008

who is it singing, apart from nicole??

  15. this one August 29, 2008

  18. Anonymous August 29, 2008

    Omg nick is so right!!!
if she couldn’t make it solo y still make her the main doll.
MELODY SHOULD BE SINGING SUM LEADS!!!

  19. Anonymous August 29, 2008

FOR THOSE WHO THINK THAT NICOLE ISNT SINGING LEAD THEIR WRONG SHE SINGS EVRY VERSE BUT THE ADLIBS ITS JUST THAT ASHLEY AND JESSICA ARE SINGING THE BACK WHICH THEY USUALLY DONT DO SO THAT THE DIFFERENCE BUT THIS SONG IS BETTER THAN THE R. KELLY SONG SO I CANT WAIT FOR DOLL DOMINATION

  20. Anonymous August 29, 2008

this sounds like something Danity Kane didn’t put on their album…It’s a cool song. Not spectacular, but decent.

  21. Anonymous August 29, 2008

THIS F***** SUCKS…BOO THE KITTY CAT DOLLS…ITS ALL ABOUT DANITY KANE..BIATCHSSSS

  22. DJ Triumph August 29, 2008

  23. Anonymous August 29, 2008

    boring song….

yall think destiny’s child was better than pcd??????

  24. Anonymous August 29, 2008

hella yeah destiny child is way better. they made real music. pcd is just for entertainment but they can’t sing. i enjoy their show but other then taht it whack

  25. Soufian August 29, 2008

it's like this Destiny's child > Danity Kane >>>>>>>>> PCD

love me some DC and DK though..pcd just has some fun music but nothing special

  26. jdo August 30, 2008

This song contains a sample of an old song…I can’t put my finger on it and it is driving me crazy. Do you guys happen to know what song I am talking about?!

  27. jdo August 30, 2008

PS…I am not talking about DK’s Lights Out.

  28. Anonymous August 30, 2008

I’m really disappointed, it’s a good track to end the album with, but to launch it as a second single :s???

Doll Domination won’t be as good as PCD and I’m starting to think it’s gonna be the last album

  29. Anonymous August 30, 2008

Oh shut up comparing them to DK.
It’s the same thing everytime, and they could record the best song in the world and you still wouldn’t like it Sam. Whatever. If you don’t have anything positive to say – DONT SAY IT AT ALL.

  30. Soufian August 31, 2008

    ”DONT SAY IT AT ALL.”

it’s his blog, get off if you dont like

Btw i totally hate missy now in this song, she f**** it up good…the lyrics she has are so amateurish

  31. m.i.K.E. August 31, 2008

missy being featured in some songs lately is clearly a way to pave the road for her comeback, like some way to make some hype but damn…missy’s over IMO

  32. Anonymous August 31, 2008

dam, all i've read is negative comments on the song with few exceptions.
i love the song..never cared for pcd, but this song is HELLA good.

pcd & missy did well with this. i have it on repeat right now, & was wondering what other people said about it.

i could see it being a hit..or close to one.
i like it 😀 so stop hating. xD

  33. Mellie Mel September 1, 2008

    I’m loving it!!!

  34. Mellie Mel September 1, 2008

I agree w/ the person above me. Not really a big PCD fan but this song is…HOT…for real! The production and the lyrics are hot! If they sound like DK it’s because they probably used a lot of people they worked w/ also. For what it is…it’s a good song and I can see it being a hit as well! It’s got my support!

  35. Anonymous September 2, 2008

OMH I F****** LOVED THAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS HOT, I DONT KNOW WHAT U WERE TALKING ABOUT~

  36. Anonymous September 11, 2008

I think it is a hot song too! It is definitely a grower!
