Amerie continues on her promo grind for her 4th studio album ‘In Love & War’, this week stopping by BET’s 106 & Park to perform previous single ‘Why R U’. Still not sold on the song, but a great performance nonetheless. I see she’s making the weave-shaking/dutty-whine hybrid a trademark move. I like!

This song knocks! I’m mad that she gets no radio play where I’m from (Bay Area, CA). “Why R U” is my favorite song off the album. It’s got that 90’s Hip Hop sounds and her signature aggressive vocals.
p.s. I doubt that she’s rockin a weave. She’s half Korean so she got that good hair. lol.

i absolutely love “why r u” and she put on a good performance, but why isn’t she performing the current single?

this performance was so hype! UGH! I LOVE THIS BITCH! and “why r u” bangs! just because it didn’t catch on at radio doesn’t make it any less of a great song. the lyrics are so true and the hook is addictive. quality hip-hop and r&b track.
