According to Essence, R&B songstress Toni Braxton and husband Keri Lewis are to divorce after 8 years of marriage. Braxton and Lewis, formerly of Mint Condition, have two children together – 7 year old Denim and 6 year old Diezel. {Source}
The news comes on the heels of Ms. Braxton kissing singer Trey Songz in the mouth on stage at the Soul Train Awards (click here to see the pic). Interesting, considering the above picture was taken AFTER the kiss. Though, I must say I didn’t ‘OMG’ at this kiss, as I smell publicity stunt; she and Trey will be starring in a video together soon. Hmm…
If true, it’s kinda sad to yet another Hollywood couple call it quits (can such couples ever stay together?). Here’s hoping they stay civil for the kids’ sake.

Why do people think because he’s not in the spotlight he’s not making money? Everybody knows the real money is behind the scenes. Also, when she filed bankruptcy the first time, he was the one who got her back on her feet. So obviously he was good to her and was not using her. Too need it didn’t work out, you never want to see a family split especially when a child has special needs.

It is so sad to see another black couple get a divorce.The divorce rate is high even in our churches.What is wrong with this country.I was married twice and divorced twice and will never marry again.It seems like couple 25 and up to 45 seem not to stay together much.I rarely hear of young people staying together for 35-40 years.My first marriage There was infidelity in both marriages lasted almost 8 years and my second lasted around 7.
