It’s finally here! There official full-length video for Beyonce and Lady GaGa’s new remix for ‘Video Phone’ has been released! The clip was directed by Hype Williams and hit the airwaves literally moments ago. The song, which has thus far peaked at #51 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts, serves as the 8th single from Beyonce’s 3rd multi-platinum studio album ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’.
Even though the budget for this project was clearly as low as all of Beyonce’s recent flicks, it definitely had my blood pumping! Yes they looked like a couple of cheap video models for the most part, but it was thrilling to see two of music’s current biggest stars share a screen. I may be just having an adrenaline high right now but I am definitely liking the song a whole lot more after seeing this!

The video turned out great. NERD for that comment about all the hype… Beyonce nor Lady Gaga made any hype whatsoever towards the video… Fans & Haters made both good and bad hype about the video not the artists Kiddo. And as far as the trashy comment… Im sorry but if you knew the lyrics to the song you could tell the song is a very seductive song which required the look given in the video. Overall I liked the video. Hype Williams should change up the double screen feature though its getting old.

…Honestly. I really did not like how random this video was. :/ It was like she was trying to be eccentric just to keep up with how off-the-wall Gaga is. I LOVE that these two came together because it seems like top stars have too big of egos to really work with each other, but they could have come up with something better than this. Where was the budget Gaga had for “Bad Romance”? Come now. :/ I’m hoping Telephone is better.

i agree with someone who said that Beyonce is amazing on stage, and makes some great music.. but music videos aren’t her strong suit. She hasn’t turned out consistent intresting videos since her first album. Its not about budget either, its about production and editing.. i go to a art school, it doesnt make a lot of money to make a video look expensive, you can throw a bunch of money at it and it can still look cheap.. Beyonce just has bad editors and producers.. whats up with the toy guns??

The Video is banging and Beyonce is s*** as f*ck and I know this is supposed to be Beyonce’s video and everything but they made her stand out and those booty pads looked great and Telephone will probably be hotter.
Urr. This is coming from one of Beyonce’s fan… I’m really not feeling the whole video. At all. There was barely any choreography, which is ironic because the whole performance for the song is a choreography and it’s much better so. The video was barely creative, I mean seriously, you think a bunch of coulours and special effects and fake toy guns are going to make it? It actually broke it, really. Thank god it wasn’t bad enough that it changed my perspective on the song. I still love her but I think she just needs to take some time to think and develop the ideas before actually putting them down. Music videos clearly hasn’t been her niche and that’s why she should never just put it out for the sake of it (I’m not saying that she is). You expect for her and Lady GaGa to be doing some mad dance break or at least some sort of solid dance interlude in the middle of the song but that wasn’t even as good as the live performance one. I’m just disappointed, but I guess not everyone can be pleased, right? The extreme and uncomfortable hoochiness aside, I really thought she looked fierce with the smokey eye and the straight hair with that long fringe of hers. That (and the significantly small cameo by Lady GaGa) was what I like about it. Lady GaGa’s appearance was close to insignificant that I felt bad for even having her there. It seems we’ll have to wait for Telephone to be officially released for it to be this disappointment of the year’s saving grace. It’s not the worse video of the year. But it’s the most disappointing.
On a side note, I’d like to hear Sam’s thoughts on the video. Not that I don’t regard Trent’s opoinions, but I just think it would be interesting.
Say what you want, but this is soft p***. I actually feel embarrassed and sad for Bey, even though I might hum the song and tap to it on the radio, this is beneath a superstar status.

Those are the words I am meant to say, “uncomfortable hoochiness” instead of “sad.” I know I felt quite strange at the end of this, not in a good strange-Lady Ga Ga-kind-of-way, but strange and uncomfortable.

This was def a good look for both parties. Beyonce def brought the element of the s*** alluring feeling in the video. It was a great glamour video. GaGa gets some street cred which will blow her up.
