New Song: Toni Braxton – ‘Make My Heart’ (Full Version)

As Toni Braxton continues to ready her Atlantic Records debut ‘Pulse’ for a May release, a new track from the LP titled ‘Make My Heart’ has surfaced on her newly-relaunched official website. Though a snippet of the track had been floating around the net for a short while, the full version had yet to premiere until now.

It really is becoming apparent that Ms. Braxton is ironically better suited to the uptempo’s this go round, as each of the faster paced tracks I’ve heard from the set have been fire, this one being no different. From the horns during the verses, to the sass in her vocal delivery, I’m really feeling this one. What’s more, the song is both contemporary, yet age appropriate for the mother of two.

With the hot material Toni has been serving up as of late, here’s hoping ‘Pulse’ delivers the goods.

i like it…it shows her range..its kind of catchy…but i feel like she’s loosi the essence of her true sound…like she did this song to have a pop hit.

As much I respect Toni as a singer and artist these songs recently have not wow in no way but I am sure she can bring the heat.

I LOVE IT!! Toni doesn’t need to just do R&B records this has a Pop sound to it will a lil bit of R&B and it works I love it!

@ Ade – Looks like the shadow has been taken from the “Memoirs Of A Blah Blah Blah” cover. On Toni, I don’t really like this but it may be a grower… will have to wait and see. Even if ballads don’t really work these ways, it is what she does best and what I, as well as many others, want to hear. Anyone beside me think that Yestersay (the original and one featuring Trey Songz) were really really underrated and over looked. They’re stuck on replay here.

@ Randy I agree about Yesterday…. It was a largely overlooked gem. People were more interested in the kiss tween Toni and Trey…..

Oh well, @ least it is quality material.

This song is pure hottness @ its best Toni keep giving me everything but it kinda reminds me of a disco club song Whitney would have done but eitherway I like it and *Side Note* who the fuck post Video Phone lyrics in this section it had nothing to do with Beyonce

.@Fat Drunk and ugly Mariah I not starting no bull I just not feeling this song. Nothing against Toni becuz she is a true talent honestly even though people slept on Libra I feel it was a great album. Those that never heard it should catch it out.
