As Alexandra Burke continues to ready her debut LP ‘Overcome’ for its US debut, a re-worked track from the recording sessions has surfaced in the form of ‘All Night Long’. Originally featured on the UK version of the Platinum album, the breezy up-tempo – which was written and produced by Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Sam Watters, and Louis Biancaniello – now features rapper Pitbull, and boasts tweaked vocals from Burke herself.
For those who enjoyed Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’, this will likely be considered a winner. Indeed, its catchy hook and fusion of Pop, Urban, and Dance should ensure its mass appeal, as well as radio success should it receive the single treatment.
That said, I’m still waiting to hear that ‘mind-blowing’ track I just know Ms. Burke has in her to deliver. ‘The Silence’ and ‘Nothing But The Girl’ aside, her material thus far has left much to be desired; with her saving grace being her undeniable vocal prowess and live performances. One can only hope the US version of ‘Overcome’ serves up the hotness…

No stan wars Ben Alex loves Beyonce and Beyonce has been a great support to Alex.She visited Alex at the studio when she was recording Overcome and introduced her choreographer Frank Gatson Jr to Alex who worked on the Bad Boys and Broken Heels videos for Alex.Lastly Beyonce assisted Alex in getting her record deal by mentioning her name to A and R people in America.It will be exciting to see how things go in America for Alex

I think All Night Long is likely to be the next single released after The Silence if her team do the right thing it is certainly a fan favorite.I am sure this version will either be a B side or it is for the American Overcome album.I am no fan of pitbull who seems a tad over the top but it is a really good collabaration.It gives the song a real edge.

No mind blowing track?! Haven’t you heard Bad Boys!! That is a tune and a half. She was amazing when she performed it on X Factor in October.

This song is tremedous.
Even on her UK album without the feature of Pitbull and just her own track is still great.
I prefer the UK version to the US re-worked version with Pitbull…. Don’t get me wrong he is a fabulous artist and I know You Want Me and Hotel Room Service is still being played verywhere you go and will never get old but sometimes there is that disappointing moment where he tends to take too much of another artist’s song up… Like this US version of Alexandra’s All Night Long, even without Pitbull it still would be in the top 5 charts and yet still, a potential No. 1!!!!!

Not a big fan of these manufactured X-Factor/Simon Cowell, glorified Karoke singers usually, but this young lady has the talent and voice to go far in my opinion.
Loving this new song, the start is very reminisent of Glee (not a criticusim, just a comment) and a great summer tune to get a party going to.
