Siblings Brandy and Ray J have been doing the promotional rounds for their hit VH1 reality show ‘A Family Business’, most recently stopping by The Wendy Williams Show -bringing along their mother and father, Sonia and Willie Norwood.

lol @ Brandy’s career being over.. girl.. only true talent can continue to release albums over a span of 15 years and still sound current and relevant. NEVER compromising artistry for a gimmick. STILL humble even though half of the industry cites Brandy as a vocal influence. INDUSTRY STANDARD on layers and harmonies but still gives belts, runs, riffs, rasp and silky smooth. People always find something to complain about with Brandy… I don’t blame brandy as far as her daughter situation because the last time she was in the public eye folks was talkin about her daughter was overweight and stuff. THAT IS TRASHY to try and drag someone’s baby. Brandy could run from technology like some of these other celebs, but she embraces twitter and even reads a few blogs i’m sure. IT HURTS PEOPLE.
I remember when Bobby Kristina hadn’t grown into her look yet but now she is gorgeous. Brandy is a great mother and her daughter is everything to her!

Who is Kim KARASDIAN? For real, what has she done besides show up at parties, previous and on the arms of well known men of Hollywood? I could never figure that one out so please help. Her face maybe seen more but her contributions to music, movies or TV, I can’t find. Ray J is a young man that is still growing up in a fast world of fame, (what ole bones do you have in the back of your closet, stop judging) Brandy is still working on finding who she really is in her music (don’t stop till you get enough Brandy, I’m proud of you) Mama is being mama and she did say she was hurt and disappointed in her son’s actions. since when does being a good parent mean not teaching them responsibility? Just because someone is your child does not mean they are blameless in situations. Mrs. Norwood continuously blames everyone else (including her own daughter by the looks of their reality show) for the behavior of her 29 year old son (YEP 29!). Some others here keep saying that Ray J is a young man trying to grow up but at 29 he shouldn’t have the mentality of a teenager and he is more than grown up enough to not be a jerk to people. At his age his time to grow up is over and he should try becoming a man. The reason so many adults in the world still act like petulant children even though they are over 21 is because their parents have made excuses for them and they don’t know how to take reponsibility for themselves and their actions, which is not what parenting is.

I think Brandy can definitely make a comeback! She does have a somewhat unique sound-she just needs to choose her projects carefully.
I do applaud her decision NOT to have her child on TV–why should she? Just to have the paparazzi all over her? I think more celebrities should take her lead and leave their children out of the spotlight!
