Funny that these stans should even talk about a celebrity being a hypocrite when the person that they stan for is one. Alicia probably wasn’t talking about anyone in particular, she was probably talking about not only Rihanna, but also Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Kate Perry (I saw her in a blue wig). A lot of artists ( I use that term loosely) change up their look to try and sell more records, sometimes is works, a lot of the time it doesn’t. People do like consistency, so I do understand what Alicia is talking about.

Alicia Keys has TALENT, undisputed talent. I laugh at people who say that Alicia screams when Rihanna can only carry a tune, and cannot SING (SMH at whoever said ‘she can sing in her own way’). I see the pattern of people with barely any talent in the music industry. It’s not about talent, it’s about money, and that’s it. It is ruining the craft of music and making people believe that people with no talent are legends or phenomenons. Well making SOME people believe that.

Aside from the fact that Rihanna’s hair wasn’t even red when she gave this interview, she was most likely speaking in general terms. Rihanna isn’t the only performer that plots out an image for every album. People need to stop trying to create drama where there is none.
