The Jackson family congregated at Michael Jackson‘s final resting place, Forest Lawn Cemetery, yesterday to mark the one-year anniversary of the megastar’s passing.
Led by Janet, the family (minus mother Katherine and Michael’s children) greeted the the crowds of more than 5000 fans who assembled outside the venue.
The superstar siblings then held a private memorial service inside Forest Lawn.

Everyone looks so sad! 🙁 I still find myself shedding tears. Michael Jackson is so dearly missed. I just wish he was more appreciated while he was here. He was such a good person and did not deserve the cruelty he received. I’m so glad I never lost sight of who Michael is and NEVER participated in the bashing. 🙁
Cosign with Luv-Lee. I have been a fan for most of my life and will remain one for the rest of it. I, too, never participated in the bashing of MJ. I NEVER believed the lies the media was spreading about this beautiful man. Why they trashed him the way they did, I guess I will never know. Only reason I can think of is because he became the biggest selling artist in the history of music and, of course, the catalog he was able to purchase. MJ said himself that the moment he broke elvis’ records and the beatles records, he became a freak, homosexual and child molestor over night (it is a youtube clip). A shame.
This man’s humanitarian efforts are just as popular as his musical accomplishments. He was a sweet and dear man who did not let his fame go to his head. He always had a heart for others and it showed. Wish he was still here. I cannot believe someone would kill him……FOR NO REASON. Three children and basically left orphaned because of envy greed, and hatred. God bless them. May Michael finally get the justice he deserves even if it is poshumously given. I miss him and will always love him.

Yay, two other people aside from myself who never fell for the b******* lies being fed to us by the media. Celebrities believed it, comedians made it seem like it was the funniest thing ever, the media was absolutely horrendous and have yet to apologize for over 20 years of lynching. Nice to see the Jackson family together, paying their respects. Katherine and Jackson’s kids were actually in Gary, Indiana unveiling a Michael statue yesterday.
