As earlier reported, R&B heavyweights Usher and Chris Brown rocked the stage at Jamaica’s Sumfest extravaganza last night; with the pair reportedly taking part in a ‘dance battle’.

CB hands down but Usher still has a lil sum sum in him left. Had this been a few yrs ago it woulda been a tight race! Love them both
Chris may be a better street dancer but in terms of all around dancing, this is Usher’s hands down. There’s a whole lot more styles than just hip-hop and Usher is pretty solid in them all. I like Chris though but I feel Usher is more versatile.

The album fell from #7 to #32 in one week. And no the album isn’t gold anywhere sweetie, its double plastic here in the states. Search Chris Brown on RIAA.com and Grashitti hasnt even SHIPPED gold, let alone sold it. Secondly, no sweetie that tour was a flop. Anyway, Chris Brown of course is the better dancer. I think he has more NATURAL ability as opposed to solely choreographed ability. Although he can do that as well, he can do some phenomenal freestyle dancing. Now don’t get me wrong Usher is a great dancer, but even when he was Chris’ age he couldn’t dance as well as Chris IMO. But I still love them both!

But…..if we are gonna compare them, then I would say that Usher is the better singer while CB is the better dancer. Usher is a true vocalist and while he can dance, CB be killin it on stage! If you have ever saw CB live then you would know! That boy be all over the stage! He is an excellent performer and he DOES sing live!
I would go with CB as far as dance cause I think he is more versatile. He has a marital arts back ground and he took gymnastics as a kid. He is extremely agile and flexible He can do any style of dance and he doesn’t look ackward while doing it.
To be fair, Usher has been doing this since he was 13, and he has years of experience over Chris. Chris will get there with the music as he works on his crafts and hopefully his voice will be stronger as he gets older. But as far a performing, I would go with CB all the way!
Either way I love both of them! I was in love with Usher as a kid and so to see him on stage with my boy Breezy just warms my heart! I can’t believe no footage of the peforming has surfaced. Come on TGJ!!! Get on it!!!

Chris Brown can’t do tap dancing, jazz., interpretive, mime, classical, or ballet. So NO he can’t do all styles. He’s a STREET dancer (crumping, acrobatics, jerking,) and he isn’t precise. He is a very good dancer but he’s much like Ciara. They do lots of gimmicky stuff but could never learn the choreography for something like Rhythm Nation, Bad, other intricately choreographed routines. I like Chris Brown but he also tends to dance ALOT more than he sings live & it’s usually because he doesn’t sound very good when doing both.

If Chris can work on his breathing so he can dance and sing at the same time I think alot more people get off his back about how he dances more. For me Usher takes it in all the all round dancer contest – smoother and sexier – and those abs of his… but CB is a good dancer – more dynamic maybe, but to me not as s***. Re all that talk about Chris’s album flopping – give the guy a break – with all the bad press he’s had over the last year he’s done pretty well – and maybe the album will go on as a slow burner – remember people have had albums which seemed to be flops at first, but have then gone on to be gold or platinum – and remember this is from a RiRi fan, not a CB stan.

Chris actually did some tap dancing in his tribute to James Brown at the Grammy’s back in 2007.

Who is a better dancer? Who the f*** cares about that? THEY ARE SINGERS! Its millions of dancers out there who’d crush both of them!
Better questions would be:
Who is the best vocalist?
Who’s catalog is better?
Who has hits on the top of the charts now?
Who has a clean criminal record? (lol…i had to).
To which I answer…Usher. But yea I guess CB is a better dancer…that doesn’t benefit me when I’m listening to my iPod tho.

Have anyone ever seen Usher freestyle dance? No! he only does choreographed dancing.. I love both of them but stop playing, Chris would dance Usher and O under a table… Chris is the only one that has done a MJ, James Brown and Elvis tribute because he is the best so stop hating………….

MJ was actually 24-25 when Thriller came out. Get your facts straight. Chris Brown is a good dancer but he definitely doesn’t have the “it” factor when it comes to great dancing & neither does Usher.
