Jordin Sparks Performs On ‘Regis & Kelly’

Published: Thursday 19th Aug 2010 by Trent

Jordin Sparks resurfaced on ‘Live with Regis & Kelly’ this morning. The singer performed ‘Breathe‘ from the musical ‘In The Heights’. Sparks is set to make her Broadway debut this evening playing the role of Nina Rosario in the play. Check out her performance below:

That was a solid performance through and through. Sparks has certainly come a long way from her days on ‘American Idol’. Hopefully she brings this kind of energy on her next LP.

This girl has sooo much talent.

Simon Cowell isn’t promoting her well.

This has also happened to GODona and Alexandra Burke LOL.

she has an incredible voice, she needs more promotion, her songs arent bad, and i listened to her album not so long ago and it was good, but she definitely lacks promo, i dont think i saw her anywhere promoting her last album

& She sings better than 80% of singers out there…she should be bigger than she is

When she came to Chicago on her House Of Blues Battlefield tour, I attended her concert and she was phenomenal. She performed this song “Breathe” and she did exceptionally well. She has what it takes; a voice that contains enough pop fusion yet ethnic enough to sing a rhythmic song that appeals to the urban mass. I do agree with some of the comments on here, she does deserves more credit. Word is, after her Broadway stint, she’s headed back to the recording studio to spit out another record top of 2011 and due sometime later on that year.

SHE’S DEF. A BROADWAY VOICE. KEEP AT THAT. SHE SUCKS IN COMMERCIAL MUSIC, POP. MIGHT AS WELL MAKE THIS HER CAREER. HOPE IT WORKS OUT. A BIT LIKE IDINA MENZEL.

If Simon doesnt see potential in her and Alexandra Burke,

hes f***** nutz. What happened Jordan? First your hit

single was all over the radio, and then you help her produce

an Epic second album, and almost every song on it couldve

been a hit, and now this?? Broadway?
