With the media abuzz with the news of Mariah Carey‘s apparent pregnancy, the diva’s husband Nick Cannon took to the airwaves to speak out on the matter.

Speaking on his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM station, the 29 year old presenter/entrepreneur said:
“I’ve have said it before and I’ll say it time and time again: when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her.
We all know it’s extremely personal, and it’s for a woman to deal with things with her body, especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff.”
Going on to add:
“That (pregnancy) is something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you’re 100% sure. In any situation, there is a certain time limit you’re supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. You don’t want to mislead anybody.”

may i remind you, mariah never confirmed she was married. we just seen her big ass ring, the license & her on the cover of people. she will drag this out like the true diva she is. a mini-mariah would be beyond adorable.
Getting pregnant can be difficult for youngest healthiest of couples let alone a woman in her forties…, IMO critique her hair, music, clothes and choice in partner but I think when it comes to trying to conceive a baby it’s no ones business. it’s clear they’ve been trying for a while and still no baby, which either means they haven’t conceived yet ro they have and have suffered a loss. Leave them alone and stop being so hungry for pregnancy news, album pushbacks are one thing but pregnancy complications are another.
@Jayla, I never said she couldnt do a concert, but if they want to keep it private, why come out knowing people will start speculating once they saw her? Alecia keys has no problem saying she is pregnant, why didnt Mimi just stay in hiding where she has been for months?
Maybe since she’s older she’s just making sure she’s fine through the first trimester.
