As far as singles go, Rihanna has more good than bad, so it’ll probably be a catchy banger (I hope so, anyway). But no matter how good the song is, she will likely never be able to do it justice live, so that justifies the “eardrum slayer” comment. I think that is the issue that most people who do not like Rihanna have, and to be honest, it IS justified criticism, it’s not random shade-throwing. And obviously more people are knowing this, because instead of her value increasing, it is decreasing. Hence rushing out another album within less than a year.

You know, despite the fact that I’m looking forward to hearing this new single because Rih’s team always brings those hits, how on Earth can you justify releasing a brand new album (and introduce a new era with a different sound) while Rih is still on tour for her last one?
If anything, this verifies what I’ve said on many an occasion and that many of her stans have denied; that Rated R (while admittedly being one of the best albums of last year) underperformed substantially. Why else rush a brand new album like this?

Or, if an artist’s album sold less than 500,000 it doesn’t necessarily mean his or her album sucked.
