The 2010 American Music Awards nominees were announced earlier today and Hip-Hop titan Eminem leads the pack with an impressive 5 nominations. The ceremony, which airs live on November 21st, will be celebrating its 38th anniversary with performances from Usher and P!nk as well as other acts who have yet to be named.

For the first time, I can honestly say that I am content with the nominees. It’s still not a stellar lineup, but everyone nominated seems to have been a predictable choice this year. The only person that I see was snubbed was Minaj, but I doubt many will care. Takers has like 44 releases over the World. So far it has only went through 10 of those releases(Its finishing up in the US and now is in parts of the UK).
So 10/44 of those releases….that leaves 34 releases left….Idk what theaters Takers is playing at but I’m sure Takers will wrap up fine when its all said and done.

During voting for EBT Trey couldn’t even get more votes for the contest(which was unoffical for the actual award) and you could vote REPEATLY! Same with Usher. If for the EBT Awards voting would have been OFFICIAL Chris would have won Best R&B for EBT. So if Trey can’t top polls for EBT what makes you think he is winning? If this isn’t rigged Usher might. No ones checking for Alicia and Sade ? Really ? Sade sold almost 1.4 million albums in the states, which is more than Rihanna, and she also sold over 500k in her first week, which is double that and a half of what Rihanna has sold. But no ones checking for her ? Lol at the BAFOONERY !!! Alicia has sold about 1.5 1.6 million albums, and Unthinkable’ was a huge #1 r&b hit, again another album that sold more than Rihanna’s Rated R’, but no one is checking for her ? Surely you are just joking right. By the way Rihanna isn’t an r&b/soul artist. She just has a touch of Urban to her. But she’s really a Pop artist.
Usher deserves to win, and i hope Sade wins. Voting is based on nothing but popularity. If it were more about talent like it should be Rihanna would’nt even be in the running.
