Faith Evans Performs On ‘Wendy Williams’

Published: Saturday 9th Oct 2010 by Trent

Faith Evans made a promotional appearance on ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ today. The singer performed her current single, ‘Gone Already’, from her ‘Something About Faith’ album which hit stores on October 5th. Check out the performance below:

Although Evans hit a few flat notes, she sounded generally good. Her vocal runs into the lower parts of her range definitely stand out just like they did in her early career. However, I must admit that this song is quite bland live. Hopefully she’ll find a way to shake things up next time. Perhaps a live band?

Thoughts?

This was my first time hearing this song. I like it, I think she did a nice job performing it also. Not sure if it’s a solid lead single but I hope so for her sake. I think Faith has a nice voice.

Faith KILLED.. her voice has even more depth now. the note discrepancies aren’t that big of a deal when you know the singer is ALL live.

I’m not understanding the “iffy” stance by most on her vocals.. she is a powerhouse. She’s like Tamia, COMPLETELY underrated. Tamia is a lot more precise and has more range, but faith has more soul.. I can really site Faith as one of my influences because I’ve listened to her debut THAT much.

She had a slight rust, but not much at all. I really like how serene this song is, and has a great message. She still got it. Coped the album, and it is quite enjoyable. Hopefully she releases “Way You Move,” with Snoop Dogg as a single.
