Jazmine Sullivan Pushes Back New Album

Published: Saturday 2nd Oct 2010 by Trent

Jazmine Sullivan has delayed the release of her new album, ‘Love Me Back’, once again. The record will now arrive in stores on November 30th – the same day as Keri Hilson and Ciara’s latest LPs.

However, this isn’t the 1st time that Sullivan postponed the release of the album. ‘Love Me Back’ was once due for release on October 5th before being delayed to November 2nd.

Chile…. Jazmine single is No.7 on R&B, I wonder why it’s pushed back? I’m sure they just wanted to add Missy on the ad-libs on “10 Seconds” lmfao

Either way I’ll be buying both Ciara’s and Jazmine Sullivan’s albums 🙂

They are setting up the R&B Women to compete against each other. The only issue with that is that R&B doesn’t sell like Pop or Rap. They’re numbers arent going to be a big as I think they are hoping for. But if I had to choose between Ciara, Keri, and Jazmine, i’d choose Jazmine because she has the better voice. So I’m sure she’ll end up having the better album. (Not Hate or Shade to the other women, but we all know Jazmine out sings both them)

    i will deff buy it

Not surprised. Won’t be surprised if everything projected to come out this Fall/Winter gets pushed back till summer 11.’ Why even bother anymore. These labels think they know what they are doing, but all they are really doing is killing the artists momentum. People will continue to become impatient and just find some way to download the t****** for it. I’m starting to HATE this music industry at times. Things weren’t this way even 5 years ago.

Damn! I so had my money ready to buy this. Guess I have to be a little more patient *sighs*..

I think this is a really stupid move. November 2nd is a month away and “Holding You Down” is already a top 10 hit on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, by 11/30 it will probably have run its course. I just don’t get it…Keri, Ciara, Jazmine and Chrisette are all scheduled to release their albums that day and you know damn well all of them are going to push them back AGAIN, and AGAIN…

    😯 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Why is everyone’s album that I wanna get being pushed back like this??? First Ne-Yo, then El DeBarge, now Jazmine?!?! And countless others that I can’t think about at the momoent. Why even bother announcing dates if the dates are not definite??

Let me just stop because i know im gonna get these albums whenever they come out. The anticipation is killing me!!! LOL!!!

  13. THE MALEZ October 2, 2010

I AM EXTREEMLY UPSET!!!! This is one of the stupidest moves Jazmine couldve done!! By NOV 30th all her songs will be leaked and itll be a waiste of my f****** time to BUY the album!!! Everyone was HOPING for NOV.2nd and sh pulls this s***!!! #EVIL

I agreee with Luv-Lee, why even announce album drop dates anymore when they are usually pushed back. It makes no sense and it just pisses off the fans. Nowadays I feel like the only reason an artist and their label should have for pushing back an album is if it’s not done. Sales shouldn’t even matter that much nowadays because most albums don’t sell past gold. Look at Ne-Yo and Ciara; I feel like their labels keep hoping for another platinum album but I think those days are over for them. Just release them as planned and stop making us wait.

pips dont worry, the single holding u down is doing well and will continue to do so the whole of october so expect it to reach no 2 or 1 on billboard rnb, that will give her more momentum, her album will defenetly sell over 100 000 first week

  16. DANBOFFICIAL October 2, 2010
