The promotional machine known as Rihanna touched down on ‘Good Morning America’ today. The Pop star performed the songs ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ and ‘What’s My Name?’ from her new album, ‘Loud’, which hit stores yesterday. All the action is available below via Neon Limelight:

Rihanna needs to give her backup singers a raise because they sing the lyrics louder then she does every time she hits the stage. That said, Rihanna is finally coming into her own as a live performer. Little by little she is learning how to work the stage (minus the fact that her eyes are closed most of the time). All she needs to do now is hire a good vocal coach.

Nice – I agree until now her performances from this ERA of Only Girl have not been good. She sounded great on both songs here, FINALLY. However, she always sound terrible on her first few outings with a song. I remember Umbrella and Russian Roulette starting horridly, then building to some awesome performances. Muscle memory people!
