    As a singer I think it may have something to do with sound(I’m not her so I don’t know for sure) but when you do unplugged the set is much less noisey so you can hear yourself without yelling…these shows seem like she singing louder to hear herself and it doesn’t sound as polished…I like her but I am dissipointed with her live showings…her live unplugged “Hackensack” performance is my jam…

    I don’t get the hate over Katy Perry! She doesn’t have the strongest voice, but she still sounds fine! She writes her music too and she’s hot as f***!

    Because it was one of the few performances where she didn’t strain her voice beyond its range. Like Remmy said, she wasn’t competing with loud instruments because it was acoustic. There some live performances of her before she got famous where she wasn’t performing with a band, it was just her and her guitar, and she sounded decent.
