Original American Idol and Grammy Award winner, singer Kelly Clarkson is gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album. The as-yet-untitled project is set for an October release date. A few months back, a snippet of previously unheard ‘Let Me Down’ surfaced on the internet. Today, a full version of the track is available. Is this the first sign of new material from the ‘Because of You’ singer?

There’s no official information regarding this song- Single? Album track? We don’t know. But ‘Let Me Down’ is not too far removed from the moody pop/rock sounds of Clarkson’s past efforts. We like.

I don’t think it’s for the new album. In fact, It sounds like it was recorded for either Breakaway or My December. I hope her new material will be more heartfelt and personal than the singles off of her 4th album.The picture is amazing, btw

Kelly Clarkson is a natural hit-maker. This song is so good and it shows her doing what she does best (in terms of the mood/theme etc.). Its about time she came back…somebody (KC) needs to teach all the ‘current’ generic pop artists how it should be done!

is it just me or do all kelly clarksons songs sound the same. Like they all have the same underlying beat, tune or whatever? like as soon as one of her songs starts playing, i automatically know its one of hers, before she starts to sing. All her songs have the same instrumental pattern to it, the only thing thats changed is the lyrics & possibly the tempo…
