The latest line-up of the Sugababes assert their ‘Freedom’ on the first single to be lifted from the forthcoming Sony Music debut.
Despite already performing the song recently at T4 On The Beach, the studio version of the track is still M.I.A (a fact no doubt attributable to its ‘official’ release being almost two months away).
Perhaps in a bid to tide fans over, a lengthy snippet of the track has been released. Take a listen to what Amelle, Heidi, and Jade are serving up as their first original single below…
We’re holding judgement until hearing the song in its entirety. You don’t have to though.

I think its good to be honest, it does stand for everything that Sugababes was all about = POP
HOWEVER – what is the Sugababes without Keisha? Lets be honest she/was the face of that Sugababes brand. if the (new) Sugababes (and their label) were smart, they should rebrand by renaming – cause that’s the only thing hindering them IMO.
Either way i won’t be buying it – but know i will eventually be randomly singing along when it’s played, cause it will get heavy media rotation and will brain wash us into liking it.

Really like it, sounds decent.
But it is going to be released the same day as Leona, The Saturdays and Pixie Lott and they could cause them to settle with just a top 10, unless they change the release date!
Leona for number 1, Sugababes for 2 The Saturdays for 3 and Pixie for 100;

This whole heavily processed vocal, generic ‘boom boom clap’ beat music is on its last legs for me.
Plus we all know that it’ll be even worse live.
siobhan donaghy from the ORIGINAL babes has a killer album out though. she is real talent.
