The X-Factor is back and bigger than ever. Unsurprisingly, with this being the audition phase, the talented and talent-challenged came out in equal measure for a crack at progressing to the next stage. Judging the hopefuls are new additions Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Costastavlos, Gary Barlow and original panelist Louis Walsh.
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 25’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s eighth season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Cher Lloyd and JLS. Its US incarnation is set to launch this month}.

Better than Leona? I dont think so. Cher has a good voice but her music is beyond horrible. Her song with Mike Posner is good though. She needs to stop rapping

John Wilding and Michelle Barrett were both really good. Natasha was hilarious…especially when she had a nip-slip.
Cher Lloyd is the best to come out of the show? Wrong, Cher Lloyd was using the x-factor to become someone that she wasnt and rather than being taken seriously at undeground music ‘cough’ ‘cough’ she became sellout material to comercial bubblegum pop and for what she was she was seriously jumped up and incredibly fake. Her debut album is completely full of autuning including her new single ‘With Ur Love’ which I am sure is a guaranteed no.1 thats if SyCo dont rig the charts ith their usual bulk buying antics to send her to no.1. My guess is Cher does have a very good vocal on her but nothing as spectacular as Leona Lewis and I am sure that Cher will never see the same kind of success as her anyway. She defo needs to stop the rapping and the wannabe diva rubbish honestly, she is fake with it, wrong attitude to walk into the music industry with and the wrong singer package. she should stick to her ballad singing which is what she is built for.
