The fifth live show of X Factor 2011 aired tonight.
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 28’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s seventh season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. Its US incarnation launched last month on FOX}.

Another enjoyable week on the X Factor UK.
This week, Misha B, Craig Colton, The Risk and Marcus Collins most certainly have our vote of approval, each of them delivering performances that will only serve to add value to their cause as viable acts ready to compete in the industry.
Unfortunately, Janet‘s ‘Jackson 5‘ performance left much to be desired.
If she makes it through to another week we hope she finds a way to take what she is good at to the next level as opposed to do something completely different altogether as she did this week.
On a harsher note, we eagerly await the day Frankie Cocozza is sent back to the Alcoholics Anonymous Centre he managed to escape from.
For with vocals flatter than a steamed pancake and a personality that would even have Naomi Campbell reaching for the holy water, it’s high time this poser was given the boot.

Calm down.. That derry guy was conviected of robbery and had a sentace of 4 years in jail, but asper usual, it was reduced to 18 months . The victim said he was robbed at gun point Hes hardly a good person is he?

What the hell is your point? Yes, Derry stole a phone of someone. And yes, Derry went to jail and paid the consequences of what he did.
Kitty on the other hand, was racist. Has she paid a consequence?
And if you are going to come on here and start posting links to articles, at least read them yourself and get your s*** straight. Derry has openly spoke bout his past and didn’t try to hide it, he didn’t have to even talk about it so if he admits to the crime but claims he didn’t have a gun, the police didn’t find one, and he never got charged for firearm possessions then the chances are that he didn’t have one.
And how can you compare Derry’s mistakes in the past to racism? One is a bad decision, one is a bad MENTALITY. It’s much more deep-rooted.
I can’t even comprehend how you thought it was appropriate to try and justify racism by bringing up someone’s mistakes, which they already did time for, but in case you didn’t notice, Kitty already wrote an apology letter (for the votes, no doubt), so get with the times.
“He was arrested after robbing a lad of his phone and watch on a train near London’s Clapham Junction station. The victim told police he had been attacked at gunpoint.
Derry said: “That made it much more serious. It was armed robbery. I don’t know where the guy got the idea to say that.

The charge was dropped to robbery, which Derry admitted. He could have got four years inside. But he was given 18 months after impressing a judge by taking up courses while in custody on remand.

Notice how everyone says Frankie has to go, but how about Janet? Her voice is screechy, she has the personality of a bag of potatoes, and her songchoices are boring… Probably because boring is all she can be. Frankie is at least interesting to watch and I love him. And Johnny has a great voice, a lovely personality and he makes me laugh! I’d rather have him win than some boring girl who makes my ear itch.
