Congrats to Adele, she really set the bar this year. Folks need to rub cocoa butter on torn up skin because she scalped a lot of bitches this year. Taylor, it was her best album to date. Nicki Minaj hit it big for a newcomer and Kanye as much of an ass as he is had some beautiful music on his album. Congrats to Bruno Mars and Eminem.

You were definitely the under dog this year and i want to thank you for paving your own path and not doing what the basic bitches do. correct the chart year starts in December of the previous year and end in November of the current year. a couple of those albums that finished so well this year are undercertified Adele’s 21 should be 5x platinum and Taylor Swifts Speak Now should be 4x platinum which would make her the first country artist ever to have their first three albums go 4x platinum or better as in Taylor Swift is 5x platinum and her sophmore album Fearless is due a 7x platinum cert as it’s sold about 6.5 million copies so surely shipped 7 million. though every sar eventually goes through a career low point for sales Like Beyonce is now barely selling a million after 3 multi Platinum albums

I would assume Not RELEASED as in they had to be actually put out that month, released as in they were out and could be counted in the specified time frames mentioned..you’ll need to confer with BillBoard on their specific cutoff dates for albums that can/cannot be included….

What people fail to realize time and time again, these charts do not accurately reflect quality of music. People really sound musically ignorant when they try to connect this to a artist musicality or quality of an album. Music goes through shifts and fads that the “general” public like and that’s it. We have albums on this list like “late night and early mornings” that bleed with musicality and others as well. If anything this is a sad picture for r&b music because it looks like it’s not a popular genre anymore. For example “4″ was a quality r&b album and by no means did she take an easy route, and maybe it’s just the r&b/urban radio channels in my state, but they keep all her songs rotating(which is three stations). On the other hand the “younger” channel tend to keep to the techno sounding music where “we found love” is almost overplayed. So take this list for what it is, but just because an album ranks lower on the list does not make it an argument of quality.

R. Kelly’s ” Love Letter” was at number 51 and then peaked back up to 35 last week for the final promotional push, now that is amazing to have two Grammy nods and making history following ” When a woman loves” being nominated last year before the album even got rushed out to the stores.
His numbers always comes in late and his second half did way better than the first half because people just now hearing about his album….
Hey Billboard 200 R Kelly out sold Keyshia Cole and you will not print Kellz stats properly is terrible! shame on this website I might find another who is accurate with stats….

It really pisses me off that britney spears is still making money for being talentless.
Anyone.. ANYONE can go in a studio and sing and edit the shit out of it and make it sound good. Once that artist hits the stage thats there chance to prove to us fans they can sing and shit. Britney hasnt sang live in years.

Even at her worst selling album to date 4, she still made the top 21 and some people with their hit singles can’t even make the top 50.. she’s having a bad era sales wise but she did say that this time around it was never about the hit or the sales so I guess if she’s ok with it i’m ok with it
I wont lie I wish she was higher but she is at 2m with 4 already and 3 solo albums that has sold over 7m a piece, this slump is hardly a slump. She’s allowed to flop a bit but this flop is only according to her own standards and no one else’s…
Look at Britney, she is in the top 20 best selling artists of all time but her album sales aren’t at their best, but she has solidified her status in pop music….
It’s sad how some people can release 6 albums in 6 years and have only 2 of those become hits and then have their fans talk that talk like it’s law, at least the people we stan for don’t have to wait for other artists to fail in order to come up.

However, I really can’t understand why some people still take those year-end charts seriously…Albums don’t sell anymore (hence 300k selling albums made it in the top 100 
), so this year-end chart means little to nothing.Now the singles year-end chart will be VEEERY interesting
