It’s underwhelming. I love the 90’s sound to it but it’s not as good as the remix IMO.

I agree with Mike. A mix of the two would be best. Great soaring vocals and a heavy beat.

XEDOS-its a phrase – an elephant in the room is something obvious but you dont want to talk about it as its awkward but not speaking about it is even more awkward. Apparently its an amerian phrase, which Alex picked up on as she was at writing camps whilst writing on this album, where there were many americans. Thats right – she’s a co-writer and is the executive producer of this new album!! Lets hope her label give her big budgets, Beyonce gets them (even though she could pay for everything herself, which Alex obviously can’t) so mini Beyonce should get big budgets and great outfits and big tours too! Anyone go to her All night long tour last year?? She brought that FIYAH! She was so damn good!

I hate to admit it but it’s really good (damn). Better than all the other cheesy stuff she’s being doing.

I for the first time, can see Alexandra being on my ipod.

It sounds alright, but I want to hear the full version. Who is responsible for the image of her at the top of the post? It looks messy.

[…] We heard the ‘remix‘ version, but now Alexandra Burke has debuted the official edit of her new single “Elephant” with a live performance during the Tickled Pink charity concert held at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire last night (January 12th) – Preceding Mr Burke on stage, other British music acts did their bit to help the fundraising event, like The Saturdays, Chipmunk, Dionne Bromfield or X Factor UK’s latest winners, Little Mix. But focusing on the big thing of the night, Alexandra and her ‘Elephant’ song, lemme just tell you, this sounds like a certified smash! And she didn’t lie, the official single edit is not like the remix. It’s got new vocals, beats and killer breakdowns! Alex’s first live performance of the song was fire. Can’t wait to hear the single edit in HQ now! “Elephant” will be serviced to UK radios next week, and will be available for purchase on all digital platforms in early March 2012. [Thanks to ThatGrapeJuice] […]
