Often compared for their outlandish fashions and ever provocative music, Nicki Minaj and Lady GaGa are two acts just as famed for their controversial antics as they are for their stand out talent.
Now, in what will be sure to ruffle pink feathers everywhere, GaGa’s long time friend and producer DJ White Shadow has weighed in on the Rapper’s ‘Turn Me On’, shortly before airing out his thoughts on his boss’ ‘feud’ with Pop icon Madonna.
His harsh remarks below…
On the David Guetta produced track, White Shadow tweeted:
“This “Turn Me On” song is “Only Girl In The World” in a very ugly dress”.
Maybe Shadow should be more concerned about getting GaGa another #1 single as opposed to worrying about what Nicki Minaj does or doesn’t sound like.
Seeing as ‘Born This Way’ is yet to garner the critical acclaim scored by ‘The Fame’ and ‘The Fame Monster‘ and taking into account that he’s just been labelled a ‘copy cat’ by Madonna, it’s clear that Shadow’s comments may be a response to the heat his own sound is currently facing.

To be honest, many of these songs all sound the same. It doesn’t mean I dislike them, but they definitely do all sound alike. I’m too sure about the context of his statement so I can’t really critique him too much.
