I’m guessing they fucked over Adele because she didn’t show up? Taylor Swift over Adele? LMFAO over Adele? What a joke.
The who awards show was a flop. No big names at all. No Gaga, Rihanna, Adele, etc.
Just the same people who go to EVERY awards show.

Uhm the awards are based on the billboard charts. So if lmfao won over adele its because the song was more popular throughout the general public.
& Adele won everything. What are you talking about.

I have a bigger problem w/the music industry boxing in the likes of Chris Brown’s & Rhianna’s music w/R&B just because those 2 are Black artist. make up some other category, Urban Pop, but not R&B. they are no more R&B than Adele. & LMMFAO @ Lil Wayne being the top male artist. the music industry has really gone to s***t. but yet, R. Kelly has one of his best albums (arguably his best in Love Letter) that gets overlooked (which in no other universe should Chris Brown’s album win a Shammy award over) because he’s getting older which is ridiculous.

I dont understand how the winners are chosen. Its clearly not based off stats cause ET set the record for most played song on the radio in a week and Last Friday Night broke that record, so how Katy Perry lost Top Radio Artist is beyond me. And Im pretty sure Moves Like Jagger sold more in the U.S than PRA. And how did PRA win best dance, best rap, AND best pop song?? How is it fair to put in 3 different catagories?? The Billboard Awards used to be my favorite award show because it wasnt politics like the Grammys or based off which artist has the most fans. But they dropped the ball here

It is based on numbers. Katy’s records were for a week only. Her airplay for 2011 had nothing on Pitbull, Adele & LMFAO. at their year-end charts Give me everything was most played song last year & Adele most played artist so if katy didnt have it for 6 months how could she for the whole year? U said yourself she broke record for WEEK does not mean overall it was best in a year. There are 52 weeks in a year

@LSZ — It’s sorta-kinda like everyone..”boycotting” ‘Battleship’ only because OF Rihanna! Oh, btw, it only returned half of its U.S. opening week projections. And given its $250-Million production budget, and its, at least $150-Million in P/A (bring-to-theater) costs, it’s now “HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS IN THE RED”!
LSZ, enjoy what you can of your fave, with Nicki Minaj now the new “IT GIRL”, Rita Ora now blooming under Jay-Z’s loving affections, and ‘Rihanna’s Battleship’ now a $400-450-Million disaster-at-sea, the curtain certainly now falls on your fave. The next stop? Downtown ‘Irrelevance and Obscurity’.
X,Y,”and Z” — OUT..!!

No body boycotted Rihanna she got just what she deserved, I for one dont think she should win awards due to the fact she is an technology based artist so if anything were Rihanna is concerned her backtracking person should win not her. Beyonce deserved that one and Adele deserved everything she got and you know it, as far as Taylor Swift goes, now that’s a big question.. But overall the award showed awarded accordingly.. Rihanna should not have performed anyway it would have been R-Rated and I believe people are tired of it, Battleship came in #2.

Glynnje, it took “Motivation” 4-LOOOOONG months to go platinum; an unheard-of-since-before eternity in the “singles time continuum”. And after the “stage/platform” SHE was given, with that 12-Million weekly audience, FOR MONTHS ON END, as a 2011 X-Factor U.K. judge/mentor of up-and-coming talent, aren’t YOU now just the slightest bit embarrassed with “Here I am” only moving less-than 350-K WW(150-K U.K./Euroepan)..?!
*Meh..* Just how much more must we endure of the forever grinning, weaved/wigged out, perfect-skin-from-a-bottle, TALENTLESS, skinny-girl-cottage-cheese-cellulite queen?
How much more chances is SHE to be given? Is SHE the only dark skinned female artist in existence?

Do people realize that Billboard awards is about charts and digital sales. Someone said CB isn’t R & B, on what planet are you on, he dominated the billboard R & B charts last year, with Look at Me NOw, No Bullshit, She aint you, Wet the Bed, 5 feature songs were top 10. The songs I mention are not Pop songs, so he deserved that award. I don’t understand how LMFAO won best Rap song, which I don’t consider a Rap song.

Okay this is getting stupid…no doubt award shows are losing their touch and from opening to ending the show was a disaster. Okay lets begin, Adele is amazing as we all know. We are hyping her more than she even hypes herself, awesome for Adele being nominated for so many awards and winning them. But the album is Past overdue and we need more current event on those nominations. Not hating just saying the little thing people are forgetting. AND PEOPLE EVEN BILLBOARD SAID THEMSELVES THEY WILL STOP SUPPORTING RIHANNA AS A WHOLE IF SHE DID THE DUET WITH CHRIS BROWN.
