Following a lengthy spell of silence and suspicion, R&B star Ciara has lifted the curtain on the title of her 5th studio album.
The moment, which also saw the singer gift the world the title of the project’s lead single too, came during an MTV press run today for new movie ‘That’s My Boy’ – the Adam Sandler comedy the 26 year old cameo’s in.

I have bought all 4 albums and I have been a fan of her’s since 2005 (when I first actually heard a cici record that summer -goodies). I have a feeling that ‘Sweat’ might be an urban song. If that is the case then im hoping the second song will be a mixture of Pop/R&B, so that she has songs that cater to two audiences. I could also see her doing a record that has a dance sound to it. Either way im gonna be still supporting her no matter what sound her music is

what producers say don’t always go a long way. Look at Usher’s new album, Climax was amazing and Lemme See as well, but Scream sounds like everything on the radio. Can’t always trust PR.

Her last two projects were commercial failures and she suffered a lot of ridicule from that but I admire the fact that this woman just keeps pushing and does what she loves. Mad respect to you Ci Ci! According to industry insiders,she’s taking no prisoners this time around.They have all had nothing but good things to say.Things feel different this time around.I’ve been a fan since 05 and she has never been this tight lipped about anything.Also J.Lo has had a phenomenal year since getting back with L.A. So i believe Ciara will have great success.She and everyone around her knows this is her last chance.With that being said,they know their is no room for error or mediocrity so why would they leave room for it?They wouldnt and they wont.If you knew it was your last chance at something you would do the same.The album has been done.It seems like now theyre planning and about to rollout an extensive campaign and they want to do it correctly.She has the talent,the drive and the work ethic.This will be the comeback era.Believe it or not but people miss Ciara and are looking for a breath of fresh air.

I cant wait! I saw her live last year and she isdef one of the best performers out there. Her voice has improved and she sang live without getting winded. Shes very underrated and makes quality music without having to sing about “sucking her cockiness”.

I honestly can’t even predict how this album will perform. Sweat could be a Pop song, could be an Urban song, could be a combination of the two so who knows. To the people calling Ciara a flop, let’s just be 100% real for a minute. Ciara did NOT have a lot of control over Fantasy Ride and Basic Instinct. They were NOT promoted and they both leaked months before they released and the singles did NOT perform well, so why wouldn’t they flop. Rihanna getting ready ro release the 5th single off TT and its only sold 850K and Rihanna, promoted TF out of that album and WTF and WHYB were both huge hits, that’s not a lot, especially considering how Rihanna is one of the top 5 female artists out now. Nicki is one of the biggest, if not the biggest flop of the year. She had one of the promo campaigns I’ve seen in yearsfor PFRR: Grammys, American Idol, Superbowl, every major talk show, radio station and magazine had Nicki and the first two singles peaked in the top 10 before the album was released and its only sold 485K in 2 months, now that’s a flop. Ciara just revealed the album title and first single name 2 days ago, so I’m pretty sure over the next wk or so, were gonna start hearing about the album. But what I’m most shocked about is that we’ve yet to get a leaked song this era so obviously Ciara and LA Reid are doing something great work this era
