For Battleship to be a success, the movie would have to bring in 6-$700mil. Mind you they thought Battleship would do at least 350mill overseas but it fell short to barely 200mil. What movie would want to just cover the budget of $250 mil.

It was heavily promoted but DIDN’T SELL MORE THAN TWO AND A HALF MILLION COPIES, WHICH IS NOT BAD AT ALL.
