For one reason or another, recent years have seen Rihanna‘s brand ‘tarnished’ with reports of what some might call ‘wild living’.
Yes, almost as if life has been imitating art, Ms. Fenty really has become the media’s ‘bad girl’, accused of putting drink and partying above her craft as a musician.
Now, in response a report by The Sun newspaper, she has struck out at the publication via Twitter.

In an article named ‘Fears as Rihanna cancels UK stay’, the publication claimed:
The 24-year-old singer was due to jet into London yesterday and film a show for Sky Living today at the start of a ten-week stay.
But her management pulled out of the Sky job citing “sickness.”
A source said: “She cancelled her trip and all work commitments in the UK at the very last minute, which is very unlike her.
“She has been hitting it hard for months. She smokes, drinks and parties hard on top of work commitments.”
Rihanna was last seen in public in Los Angeles early on Monday looking the worse for wear after a boozy night out.
The above got back to Camp Rihanna, prompting the singer to tweet:

Seriously though, it is funny Riri stays biting the tabloid hands that feed her confused cause.
For, without a US #1 album to her name and the respect afforded to the GaGa’s,Rita’s and Beyonce’s of the world, Fenty really is dependent on the ‘reports’ like these to keep her name buzzing, especially since her ‘talent’ has always failed to do the trick.
Maybe- and this is just a suggestion- if she spent less time whipping up controversy with snaps like these , and more time doing what she is paid to do, publications like The Sun would have less ‘material’ to work with when writing these stories.

exactly she has never had a #1 album, but all of her albums debut within the top 5 of the album charts. That means rihanna has something to continue working towards. She will always be striving for bigger and better, because once you hit the number 1 spot, it will be harder and harder for those people to maintain that position. And then people start judging them for not being able to make #1 the second time around and laugh at their declining sales. At least with rihanna her top 5 position is consitent and so is her sales, so she’s in a league by herself getting shit done.

Because it only takes into account your first week sales, which in the long run can go either up or down. In rihanna’s case it goes up and up and up. Those other peoples sales take a nosedive never to be heard from again.
