Ok here’s what I got from watching the “Wide Awake” video. I think it all takes place in a dream. In the dream Katy encounters a young Katy Perry. Together they work there way out of the maze (which is a representation of something) and after reaching the end of the maze, Katy takes young Katy back to her bike where she realizes how much she has grown and accomplished from when she was a little girl to now. It’s no longer dream because (get ready for a corny line) she’s now WIDE AWAKE! Oh and the video didn’t premiere online, it was leaked.
As much as I still feel ieffy about her after she talked about my motha (Bey) and my god mommy ( A. Keys) That was the best video of the last Two years. It beats Run The World by two points.
This was really good. The people writing these treatments for her and directing the video are awesome. it goes perfectly with her new ‘Part of me’ film reflecting on her career, and her personal struggle with her divorce.

Basic song, basic video, basic b****. There is no reason for her to have a career in music. The reason she’s so obsessed with making little tributes to herself for “making it” is because she should never have “made it” and even she is shocked. It’s amazing what boobs, auto-tune, and payola can do for someone.

And we all know fads die hard. One more bite from Katy and people will begin to regurgitate. Katy Perry is very ’2011,’ we do not need her in 2012.”

They aren’t when you perform them horribly. Katy Perry can’t sing to save her life, she makes sure to not hit any note properly. Songwriter? LOL. I wouldn’t be proud if I wrote a s*** like “have you ever feel like a plastic bag…”. LOL. None of her s***** songs have good lyrics. Guitar? DEAD. My 10-year-old cousin plays guitar as well. Any boy living on their mama’s basement knows guitar. Anyone can play guitar, but only a few can be on the level of Hendrix, Slash, Eddie Van Halen. Katy Perry ins’t even close.
I don’t give A for efforts. Just because you sing live, it doesn’t make you a good singer. Just because you dance, it doesn’t make you a good dancer. I give credits when they’re due.
All Katy Perry does is to fool people. She always hits the stage with 10 billion things around her only to distract people from her lack of talent and stage presence. If she stops worrying about the visual concept of her work and start to care about mature her talent, I’d give her some credits.
Katy Perry is not better than Rihanna, Ke$ha, Britney Spears.
