i love ciara but thata the problem. from the performances the best things were the dance not singing and that doesn’t make a good singer. artist yes. still don’t understand why she doesn’t sell but even though her voice got better it;s not amazing

These are not her best live vocals…if truely interested, you should check her Thug Style NYC live, Ride Live, Promise @ Oi Fashion Rocks, not too mention others. It’s a shame that many videos on YouTube don’t truly convey the texture of her voice due to poor audio quality but there are several performans with Ci performing Live with little to no backtrack or pre-recorded vocals and she sounds amazing.

One of her best performances was Like A Boy/ That’s Right on the B.E.T awards. She always gives an award show quality performance. Always.

People try to discredit Ciara, but her talent will speak for itself.

I love Ciara and she is one of this generation’s most gifted performers. I hope this era brings chart success alongside with top notch performances and videos from her. Bring it on! 🙂

Talent? Um he and Chris Brownn’s clocks are ticking in that “Glorified male back up dancer” lane so clearly this is not a talent recognized outside of America’s Best Dance crew.

a navy should NEVER criticize someone for their performance. That should be illegal cause your girl is known to be a HORRIBLE performer. Her time of walking back and forth a stage during a dance record is ticking as well. That’s why shes finally learning some choreograph with her stiff ass.

      • Benron (King Of The Navy) August 18, 2012

But the thing is, unlike Ciara can book a stage for you to judge. Rihanna’s performances have been praised many times, but thats not the point.

When did I bring up Rih, trying ot save the subject to save your girl. Nice try but bye b****!

This seems more like a good-bye tribulation. lol As i noticed in the comments, she is just good for her performance not singing. If she considers herself to be R&B her voice should be the thing that keeps her on top. I can’t wait to see how the next song that is release does.

  24. Gimme something else August 18, 2012

Im sorry but some of the comments are true. Ciara maybe a great performer but that’s great if you go to a concert, when you buy the album/singles you want to hear some kinda vocals, or at least catchy songs, and for me Ciara doesn’t have it so I’m hoping she either improves her vocals or song choices come Monday. Commercially we are in an era when people don’t care for dancing or vocals but are looking for catchy and sometimes basic songs. Ciara has a battle on her hands

    Can’t wait !!!
For me, she is a great performer.
At least, she worked so hard and want to show us great performance.
Although her vocal isn’t as good as her dance,
her vocal is better than better.
And I do love her performed the song “Never Ever”
Bless Her and keep on support her 🙂
She is the one who makes me listen to the western music 🙂
    Go Cici.
    Ciara = C-Era = Top
