For, as ‘We Found Love’, ‘SOS’, ‘Only Girl In The World‘ and ‘Drunk On Love‘ proves, Rihanna has never had a problem recording and releasing ‘up market’ Pop. Her problem, we’d say, is delivering those numbers on a live performance tip.
So, here’s hoping her performances of ‘Diamonds’ are just as classic as the cut itself.

There use to be a time when 1 CD would produce 5, 6 or 7 hits (see Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Prince, Michael Jackson, STP, Nirvana, hell, Parliament Funkadelic <— 🙂 ) that would spin for a good 2 years.BUT in this" instant, give it to me now" fake, controlled, media-driven music industry, no CD gets the treatment it deserves!
