Must See: Prince Joins Mary J. Blige At ‘iHeartRadio’

Published: Sunday 23rd Sep 2012 by David

It’s not often the world enjoys iconic pairings akin to that of Mary J. Blige’s and Prince’s.

So, it goes without saying that last night was all too mind blowing for fans at ‘iHeartRadio’, who had the honor of seeing the pair perform together live during Mary’s set.

Performing Prince’s Sinead O’Connor performed ‘Nothing Compares To You’, this performance is definitely one for the books.

Enjoy…

Prince is my man, love da afro, he is the best for me, better than YES!..you know who.

      • S****** Blonde September 23, 2012

B****!..you did it..haha….i love both but let’s be real, Prince is more talented, the other one was more successful and very talented too but Prince is probably the most talented musician ever.

      • MC September 23, 2012

I think they were both extremely talented. The way I see it is that they are talented in different aspects. Prince is an out of the world artist who crafts his work beautifully and is an innovator, but so is MJ. MJ is a brilliant artist who is the best performer and entertainer of all time. To me I love and respect both tremendously. They are like Whitney and Mariah, both extremely talented and legendary.

BTW, Prince never ages o_O is he a vampire?

We Gemini have a young look even if we are old haha, that’s why…back on topic, i think MJ was a better dancer, that’s for sure, i won’t call him the best performer because that would be like saying that Rock musicians who only plays their Guitar are no better than MJ moves, right, but i do think overall Prince is way more talented, the man is responsible of the Minneapolis sound, a multi-musician, he’s talent is just out of this world, he creates every sound you hear in his songs, it’s just that MJ has more charisma.

      • MC September 23, 2012

Who else is a better performer than MJ? I still stand by what I said in that they are both out of the world and equally talented….I think its a matter of which one you identify with the most.

      • S****** Blonde September 23, 2012

Don’t get me wrong i do think MJ was magic on stage but it’s not fair to say, he was the best performer because that would be like saying to all singers of all kind of music that they need to dance like MJ to be a great performer like him and also because the likes of Usher and Chris Brown would be like the best performers in the world and of all times after MJ, i think if we are talking about dance then he was the best but if we are talking about playing instruments then others win for sure and that is part of a performance too.

I get what you are saying, but the reason why I say MJ the best performer/entertainer of all time is simply because no one can do what he does/did on the stage, no one. MJ was more than magic he was a natural force. He made grown (straight) men cry over him, I mean he was the absolute best. At the end of the day both MJ and Prince are gems in this disastrous world and talent like theirs will never be found again (unfortunately). But I gotta say MJ could never rock those heels the way Prince does.

      • S****** Blonde September 23, 2012

You kill me with the heels part B****! haha… anway we all agree in one thing that both were/are exceptionals.

    • mobwife September 23, 2012

I’m with @MC! Both Prince & MJ are equally talented just in different ways!
