About Xtina´s new single: I think it is what she was needing. They got it right. She is probably going to finally have a hit after 9 years. And I like it, it sounds good, but I´m sure she is gonna offer way better material on the album. I´m sure she´ll have more on the album

She stayed in her middle register in the entire song. Christina definitely SLAYED in this song with the hard notes. And obvioiusly someone with more power is able to hit higher notes. I’m not indicating mariah doesn’t have power but she failed to show any of her previous vocal abilities in triumphant that she delivered in the 90’s mostly cuz of her nodules and her voice declining. In this song Xtina hit at least a E5-F5 type notes.

It’s true. I love MC but she failed with that triumphant song. Somebody that is a Legend with many years experience of songwriting skills and above average vocal skills disappoints with a comeback single! I didn’t like the song at all and think MC can do better. I don’t see what was the point of having fatass Rick Ross on the track and Meek Mills on the track and having them marginalize and downplay her talents by only singing the hooks and some weak ass ad-libs on her own SONG. I liked the message and lyrics but it takes a little more than that if you wanna make a good melody and music for the people. MC was well rested getting back in shape. Her body looked GREAT. But it’s too bad her voice couldn’t do the same. That was a terrible performance she did. PLZ don’t fall into the realm of terrible peformers like Rihanna, MC. MC is known for her amazing VOICE. Just like XTINA. @JohnVidal I think that’s what Sam is trying to get it. She didn’t make much of an impact this time with her voice what she has been acknowledged for all these years. Hopefully MC can get it together and release a better single. For now, Xtina wins me over with this one. And it looks like several others agree. This song is okay. She is quite popular due to her Voice judging stint so it should place high on the Pop charts! Her vocals on this track remind me of the song she did with Diddy. Xtina has a nice voice IMO. I just need her to make more music that showcases her ability.
As for the Xtina vs Gaga debate above, they both have pretty good range! Although, I do think Xtina’s vocals are much stronger.
Gaga’s voice ranges at least 2 octaves. Her voice is strong but she doesn’t have the pipes xtina has who has 4 octaves of range in her throat.
Well, she does make music that showcases her vocals and has more depth but those are normally on her albums. You Body is a radio single, as was Genie In A Bottle. Every Christina album has your big ballads and music with meaning. Lotus out Niv 13th.
