Christina Aguilera has another hit on her hands!
Yes, in what should see the number pushed as the next single to be released from her new album ‘Lotus’, her Claude Kelly crafted song ‘Just A Fool’ has continued to ascend on iTunes today… a testament to its bourgeoning popularity.

Despite given little to no push from the singer, the number wowed audiences today when it peaked at #15 on the iTunes singles tally, surpassing her Dance centric cut ‘Let There Be Love‘(#81) and ‘Your Body’ which currently stands at #73.
A clear indication as to where RCA should be heading with the project, the release- if its digital run is anything to go by- will score the highest peak position scored by any song pulled from the album.

i’m not a huge fan, but i do believe Your Body served its purpose. And by no means is this project anything like Bionic, which never got off on a right foot, in my observation…

your body didnt chart higher than Not Myself Tonight and Lotus will sell prob half of what Bionic did in its first week.. and even her liver performances are worse, singing wise.. I dont know why this site is giving praise when even Billboard is shading her.. this will be her second studio album to sell much less than Glitter but she wont get the bad press from it bc shes not held to the standard, never has never will

jlo’s ‘love’ album sold less than ‘glitter’ and ‘bionic’…63000-8300 units (depending on what you read) in the first week.
‘love’ has only sold 334k in the u s and 1 million ww to date even though it’s been promoted to the hilt from jlo’s starring as a judge and performances on amer idol, other guest appearances, touring and positive hype from the media.
bionic has sold 310k in the u s and 800k worldwide with little or no promotion and buckets of negativity still being hurled.

It’s unfortunate to say but it looks like Christina has ANOTHER “Flop” album on her hands. “Lotus” is expected to sell 75-80k. I’ve been a fan of her since the beginning and I just can’t get with this album. I only bought “Your Body”, “Cease Fire” and “Best of Me”. But I wish her much future success.
