Vocally she isn’t ready to go on tour if she were to. Vocals are a mess TBH. Look at her Back to basics tour. She slayed the vocals. Hardly any straining and near perfect execution. She needs to rest her voice for a while. And there’s too much screaming in this song without any depth.

She didn’t use her voice that much since 2007
No touring, No vocal practice, barely a hard promo
her voice needs practice and practice to get back in shape
I think touring is going to help her ..
voice muscles needs to be strong again, that’s it
She still sound great tho ..
you need to put in mind that her songs are so hard
I mean almost ever single song in Lotus got different fucking high keys and high notes ..
Once she hit the road she’ll learn how to hit those notes again and again .. It will get better

Let´s see:
- There´s so many things wrong with her promo this time. Why didn´t she performed the 3 songs she has sung in The Voice the release week? Or the previous one even better? This proves they have given up, but they should have done it before
- She looked cute. She dressed like she likes but she looked good this time
- I understand “Let there be love” is the most radio friendly song on the album apart from “Your Body” and I think she should have performed it at the AMA´s ´to not let people get confused… but don´t tell me such a generic and easy song is the best one on the album. In fact I prefer “Around the world” among the danceable and generic ones
- Xtina´s voice was never … hmm pleasant, specially live, but yeah since Bionic promo it has been getting worse. It is still extremely beautiful when she sings in that range she used in “Sex for Breakfast” from Bionic album
- Overall I think she should be doing better cos there´s no way other pop stars are releasing better material than Lotus album at the moment. But in music there´s no justice for the most part nowadays so…

there’s remains loads residual from the high gear hate christina campaign operated for two straight years by the media.
on the show ‘the view’ there were three large blown up photos of artists pitbull had worked with. christina’s image was a small sliver barely noticable on the left of screen.
i’ve never seen such determination to play down an artist.

Good to see she has abandoned those horrible-looking leotards, if she had left out that ridiculous short waistcoat then she would have looked fantastic. Her vocals were okay, nothing special but not a mess either. She has to lay off on the heavy makeup and fake tan though, she is starting to look raddled. She is a beautiful woman and does not need all that slap. I’m not feeling the song though, sounds like an album track rather than a single contender, and WHY hasn’t she performed Your Body live? I feel sorry for Christina fans, she really isn’t puttting herself out there to promote the album, and after the mess that was her last album she needs promo badly if Lotus is to sell even reasonably well. Look at Madoona, it is no longer possible to rest on past success and expect to get decent sales with mediocre music and next to no promo.

Okay… what performance are some of you watching. While it was fun and simple, the vocals from ALL of them went from mediocre to horrendous. As someone else mentioned in here, Christina needs to strengthen her voice because all those years of screaming notes are finally catching up with her. She has a beautiful voice w/ a crazy range but she continues to squander it with singing incorrectly. That grunt sound and the sound of the scream are both NOT singing. I need her to come correct because she should be surpassing those with half her talent.
