Watch: Cheryl Cole Live At The ‘Jingle Bell Ball’

Published: Sunday 9th Dec 2012 by David

She may not be much of a vocalist, but very few Brit belles can say they’re on par with Cheryl Cole the entertainer.

That point was proved once again last night when she arrived at Capital FM‘s ‘Jingle Bell Ball’ to perform for fans, months before she’s set to make her way back to the ‘X Factor UK‘.

Check out her killer set below…

In what’s come as a gift and a curse for Cheryl, her efforts to push her personal life to the public eye have made her one of the UK’s brightest stars, but in doing that has seen her conviction as a performer overshadowed by the ‘tell alls’ and dramas that keep her brand afloat.

A better entertainer the most people would give her credit for, here’s hoping her reported return to ‘The X Factor UK‘ will see emphasis placed on a decade long career in the business and the quality of her material.

For, as anyone who’s ever listened to a Cheryl album will tell you, she is anything but just a pretty face and serves cuts we feel don’t get the push they deserve. Case in point?

See what we mean?

As possibly the most vocally-challenged artist around, all I have to say is that for a singer she makes a pretty good dancer, ROFL ;o)

Live my ASS!!! That chav can’t sing live to save her life. Her last album is a big flop, didn’t even sell 100K. BYE!

It sounded like 3 Words was sung live, I winced all the way through it at the bum notes so I’d say it was live. Call My Name – not a chance, she can’t even sing standing still and I noted the vocals carried on when her lips stopped moving, lol ;o)

She’s a beautiful woman (kinda resembled Shaina Twain, no?) but she REALLY lacks the singing ability…..she’s an okay performer though.

TGJ you’re on your own with this one. You cannot berate Rihanna and praise Cheryl or Ciara when they all cannot sing (actually i think Cheryl being the worst) I don’t care if Rhianna p**** pops and Cheryl & Ciara recreate various decades of Janet Jackson its all as bad as bad. The worst insult is that Cheryl cannot execute the half decent songs she’s given on record, She could never sing Dimonds live or recorded or like a boy. I remember people cursing Victoria Beckhams singing ability but she actually sings better than Cheryl in the studio and live

I have to agree. I looked at the Victoria Beckham i watched This Groove and Let Your Head Go, and the Let Your Head Go looked like a GaGa video before GaGa knew herself.

I love Cheryl Cole, her album “A million lights” is bloody awesome. I loved her on the UK X Factor too, I hope she comes back.
