Fantastic performance, Gaga’s vocals are always good, unlike some of your faves. She really has got those “moves like Jagger” as well, what did you expect her to do? The Telephone dance? The Rolling Stones invited Gaga to perform with them, they appreciate her talent even if some of the pressed stans on here don’t. She got a great reception from the crowd when she came onstage and an even better one at the end of the song, don’t know who she is? Really :oP

Exactly, I love the Stones so seeing Gaga perform with them was great. I just watched Mary J Blige and Florence Welch performing the same song with them and, whilst all three women sounded good, Gaga took it to another level with more powerful vocals and incredible stage presence. Her and Mick are both flamboyant larger-than-life characters and I was amused to see Mick Jagger tweeting “I can’t believe I performed with Lady Gaga”, she tweeted something similar about Mick as well, mutual respect going on there ;o)
Yes, I was surprised that Gaga did have clearer tone and vocals, and her performance blew even Mick away. I noticed that at one point, Mick was looking around for Gaga, and Keith Richards looked up from his guitar and Charlie Watts from his drums when she was moving around the stage as she is THAT entertaining and brilliant a performer. All the Stones members then smiled and she even got a reaction out of Keith Richards, which is very difficult to do as he is half-dead (albeit totally awesome).
You can see her interact with all the Stones, the back-up singers and the audience. That is the mark of a great performer!
I’ll be curious to see if she has any collaborations on ARTPOP, I know she has done a couple with Azelia Banks but whether they will make the final cut is anyone’s guess. She was also talking about maybe doing two volumes of ARTPOP 6 months apart, one commerical and one experimental, that would be great but we all know Gaga changes her mind as often as she changes her clothes, lol! Hope we get it sooner in 2013 rather than later, I need new Gaga music – Cake, Stache, the jazz version of You and I have all been nice to tide us over but we need a new single and soon ;o)

I hope she will collab with the Rolling Stones, she partied with them afterward until 3 AM, so they have tons of chemistry and Mick’s voice went very well with hers! The exciting thing about ARTPOP is that being an app, she can always add additional features to the album. I mean, I like having the hard copy CD, but I will also get the app for any updates. It’s going to be exciting!

She was initially going for vacation and hadn’t performed in AU since 1998 but they want her obviously when she sold both times under 5 minutes. Can your fave?

All artists get ideas from the past and the big names are no exception. As a teenager in the 80’s I’ve lived through 4 decades of music, and I’ve seen it all before. The thing to do is put a new twist on old ideas, which is exactly what Gaga does ;o)

Honestly, i’m not crazy about her performance, I do not judge her talent as an artist, I only criticized her for her behavior and this time there was nothing bad to say about her so first of all, congrats to her because is a great thing to perform for The Rolling Stones, i love them, i hope her new music will makes me stand for her again, i still believe in her, i still belive she can find her inner Stefani.

The truth is that her music ain’t that great. Her fans tend to try and use her how “good” her music is as justification for her fame and legitimacy, but I don’t see what’s so good about it. I won’t pretend to have heard every Lady Gaga song, but I’m sure I’ve heard all of her singles, and I haven’t liked not a one of them (that includes that highly overrated “Bad Romance” song.) I find her music obnoxious, overproduced, erratic, loud…yet still oddly bland…and I find her visually off-putting and grating. Put it all together, and I have zero use for Gaga. I guess the world needed something faux-abstract and “upbeat” when she came along, but I don’t see the value in any of it. She’s boring and annoying.
I won’t even bother to comment on the hate Gaga gets. What does her nose & weight have to do with anything? It’s plain ignorant. Truth is that it’s so hard for you all to admit how far she’s come and all she’s accomplished in just about 4 1/2 years. But when Gaga breaks a record & is #1 everyone praises her. I can’t with all this fakeness.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve never praised Gaga in any way, shape or form. Especially not when she topped every some kind of chart. I just don’t like her. Never have (I roll my eyes when people get on here and say that BTW sucked and that they want a return to Pokerface/Fame-era because that was garbage too), never will. I want Gaga to give me 2007 back, you know back when no one had heard of her and she hadn’t disturbed anything.
