If, unlike most of the music buying public, have had the pleasure of hearing Nelly Furtado‘s ‘The Spirit Indestructible‘, you’ll already be familiar with ‘Bucket List’.
Produced the ever genius Darkchild and co-written by Furtado herself, the stand out cut is without a doubt the best thing to happen to a album filled with stellar material, but just didn’t capture the hearts (or wallets) of the consumer.
Think you’ve heard the best of Ms. Furtado?
Think again below…
(Exhales).
What’s not to love? From its melody, arrangement (3:15), to a voice that belts without ever sounding strained, ‘List’ makes for a pretty surprising listen- and it’s one of the only jams on ‘Spirit’ strong enough to go toe to toe with the likes of ‘Te Busque‘ and ‘Say It Right’.
If there is a follow up album lined up, we hope Team Furtado give the cut the justice it deserves and give it the singles treatment, or at the very least, make it a staple at her live shows.

No.
If I was an artist, no matter how Long I’ve been in the game, I’d aspire to be like Rihanna. Because since 2005 she’s been a radio force & consistent album seller.
KThx bye

Perfect production and arrangement. Bad songwriting. All of the songs on this album were just poorly written. She needs to enlist real songwriters. The whole singer-songwriter thing is just not paying off for her. Kelly Clarkson took the hint [much as I loved My December, she should not be writing her own albums], why can’t this girl?

Should’ve been the first single ! This is “Loose” material ! But still giving old Nelly w/ the banjo ! If she would’ve put this out, she could’ve slayed like P!nk !
I still fuck w/ Nelly ! She just needs to give up that same tired side-profile pic pose !

To me, Play and Waiting for the night are way better than this. But the album is solid overall, Furtado does not deserve this flop.
