Since it emerged she had been enlisted to judge on the show, there’s been an effort by some critics to belittle Nicki Minaj‘s achievements to justify their own doubts on her.

She’s a likable person when she just talks about her background without all that extra accents, personalities, etc that she does. I think its very interesting what she said about working hard to get yourself where you want to be. Its a great example to her fans that one should follow their dreams and never give up. There is that saying that you aren’t a failure unless you yourself think you’re a failure. She comes off very intelligent, great for her. She needs to show this side of her more often.

Personally for me Nicki is much more likeable without all the extra fluff but the extra fluff is what made middle America love her besides the fact that she built an interest back into the female hip/pop lane when she released PF in 2010.
