For, the Queen of Pop Janet Jackson has confirmed that she wed longterm boyfriend, billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana…last year.

In an exclusive joint statement to Entertainment Tonight, the happy couple said:
“The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.
Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.
With love, Wissam and Janet”

I am happy for Janet. Wissam is quite a catch! A handsome, sexy middle eastern billionaire that seems to love her very much. I’m not saying you should be strategic in love. However, when you get together with someone below your station in life…..it comes with a myriad of problems. Janet has her own money and appears to keep a safe distance from her troublesome family. I mean does she and Wissam need to begin their lives together with so much unresolved baggage that has been plaguing the Jackson family since jump street? I think not.
