Toni Braxton is setting the record straight.

The rumor mill cranked into overdrive yesterday with the suggestion that the GRAMMY-winning songbird has married Birdman in a “private ceremony in Mexico.”

Now, though, not only has the ‘Breathe Again’ belter confirmed that no such union, but she’s clarified her relationship status. And Birdman’s too.

Taking to Instagram moments ago, Braxton dismissed the reports, writing:

“My dear friend @birdman and I are not married…never been married. We are both single.”

The power pair had been reportedly dating for a number of years, but even then had largely been private about the status of their relationship.

In the here and now, though, Ms. Braxton has made clear what the situation is – and, more importantly, isn’t.
